“It's been a year since we have been back to highland. We made it a priority to come back to the Wooden Tie and they didn't disappoint us one bit! Took a group of six around 5 pm. We were seated right away. Service was excellent even with the increase of customers. Brisket was the main item but wraps and chicken nuggets were also ordered. Awesome home made chips. The vegetable medley is a must have! Side salads are well put together. We ordered giant pretzel sticks with a really tasty cheese sauce. Many more items to try but it is a must go to place every time we come back. Great food! Great people! And not too hard on your wallet!”

“My daughter's rehearsal dinner was held here last week. This place is so lovely!! The nostalgia is incredible!! Aside from the property being absolutely gorgeous, you are greeted by precious little front porch kitties which instantly warmed our hearts!! The food was so delicious!! I generally hate beets, but I deciced to give them a shot, and they were actually really yummy. Just an all around delicious country meal with all the fixings!! Ohhhh, let's not forget the dessert!!! YUM!!!! The staff was very kind and attentive also. It was just all around a great experience. We will be back!!”

Every guest got to leave with their very own work of art. All we had to do was show up, and they took care of the rest. Everyone had an amazing time! “It’s just a terrific bar and grill. The flattop grill is so well seasoned, the burgers are delicious. Chili is great but only available in cooler/cold months. Sloppy Joes in warm weather. If you’re nearby, it’s a must-do dining experience.”

“I have deemed Highland Scooters to be the best Scooters in the area. I have been to Greenville and Edwardsville Scooters and neither compare. Highland always has the best cooked and represented food out of those locations and they have never messed up my order.”

My dear friend had called earlier to find out if Patty Cakes, made Coconut cakes or not. Which they said of all the many they make, they do not,,,,but as a special Easter blessing would make a Coconut cake for Easter. So when I called to order the Coconut cake, and a clerk who didn't know this had transpired answered and said no Easter Coconut cake! BUT GUESS WHAT???? The owner of Patty Cakes called me and said of course they'd make a
