La Dolce has changed since the ownership change. My wife and I visited on March 28th. Our server was very good, but the service was a bit spotty, likely due to a wine pairing party they were hosting. I received my starting cocktail promptly, but my wife's wine took a long time to arrive. I ordered the special gnocchi with vodka sauce, and my wife ordered the orecchiette escarole. Very good authentic food. Very good portions. Service was mediocre, biggest complaint was drinks were left empty for a while. Other then that, highly recommended. Also they request no split checks.

I love their bread and oil. Ask for the spicy oil as it is great with the Parmesan cheese and the warm bread.
Salad cones out with oil and vinegar dressing. It is really fresh and tastes delicious.
I always get the spaghetti and meat sauce as it is absolutely the best I have ever had...
