Just experienced this restaurant for the 3rd time and it’s officially my favorite spot! First time we went I instantly fell in love as they do grilled chicken for their chicken tacos instead of pulled chicken, but the rice and beans were just okay, sort of bland. We went back a 2nd time for just tacos as the rice and beans weren’t “worth it” the first time. Last night we had it for dinner and my goodness!!! Everything was perfect, the chicken burrito was not with grilled chicken but I now know I prefer pulled chicken in my burritos and the rice and beans!!! It was just like my grandma made them growing up. Only my husband has gone in and always tells me about how wonderful the people are and how kind they are. I didn’t want to leave a review so I can selfishly keep this place to myself, but I saw a negative review of their rice and beans and 100% disagree with it and thought more people should know the authentic Mexican food we’ve been missing out on in the area!

Finding this place was a pleasant surprise. We walked in without knowing what to expect. We ordered only a couple tacos to try it out, and we were delighted! we ended up ordering more steak tacos and a side of rice. The meat was well seasoned and tender, the salsa was spot on heat wise. We will be back for sure. ?

We had loaded nachos with beef, Chicken quesadillas & Tacos.It was very quiet there the whole time we were there. Feels pretty small with four tables.Most of their business seems to be to go orders.Tacos were good Mexican style (better than American style which is also available).Quesadilla was pretty oily but decent tasting.Loaded nachos - good presentation, but I could taste that the nachos were a bit stale unfortunately.Nothing special overall sorry to say. We like supporting small local businesses but it’s hard to recommend this one.

So glad I tried this place! Came in to order some chips and guacamole for a game night I’m going to. Ordered 3 orders and the server recommended the catering size which was a much better deal. I was ordering tacos also to try because this place is new and my first time coming. Again I was ordering ala carte and she showed me the better deal. I really appreciate when an establishment looks out the best interest in the customers they serve! Definitely the best tacos I’ve had in Plainfield thus far!

Great Mexican restaurant. 10 out of 10 and we will definitely be backWe got chips and salsa, loaded nachos, chorizo tacos, and a steak burrito.The steak on the nachos and burrito were really high quality, not fatty or gristly.My daughter had the chorizo tacos, and she said it was really excellent too.I consider myself a bit of a salsa coniseure. The chips and salsa were excellent. They were very flavorful with a litte bit of heat which I really liked. My food also came with some containers of green and red sauce. The green sauce had a great balanced flavor without any of the bitterness you sometimes get from tomatollos. It did have a medium to high heat level.The red sauce had a slightly creamy texture with a hint of sweetness and was a little less heat than the green sauce.

I stopped by this place on a recommendation but the truth is nothing special I bought a burrito and some tacos but the truth is I didn't like too much seasoning on the meat and I felt that it was reheated I hope you take my observations into account and move
