“The History on Wheels hosted its annual Juneteeth celebration at the Joliet Area Historical Museum on Wednesday, June 19, 2024. We used Mama Sarah's Kitchen for catering and the food did not disappoint! Chef Arron Sain has magical hands!! We had fried chicken, fried catfish, baked salmon, collard greens, baked macaroni & cheese and cornbread. For dessert we has cheesecake, pound cake and banana pudding. Everything was so flavorful and delicious. My mouth waters as I think about the food. So many compliments from our guests about how the food was. Truly outstanding!! Thank you Chef Arron for your amazing service and delicious food! We will be having Mama Sarah's again!“

“I recently used the catering services for a repast and let me tell you.. The beef short ribs was fall off the bone tender!!! the greens and mac and cheese was superb. and that Fried Chicken BAAABY!! she sprinkled some serious SOUL in this food.. I'm mad that I didnt take pictures because, my husband and I barely made it out of the parking lot before we grabbed some chicken out of the pan.. FANTASTIC :)“

“This was the best soul food I have ever had. Granted I haven’t had many, but this was delicious. The fish was good, the rice was OK, but I mean how much can you really do with white rice. The beans were the absolute best part of the meal I wanna say the greens are the best part however, to me at least they were just too salty. But take that with a grain of salt because I don’t usually eat salt.
