Went here with my mother a while ago and both of us got horrible food poisoning. Both of us had omelets. The waitress was rude as well. I do not recommend. You are better off eating at home!

Horrible Sunday experience! I visit Southern Belle at least once a month- typically during the week and when I go, it’s usually with a large group. I’ve been going for years and this was the first time I left in total shock. They had very young teenagers at the check-in who were not the most professional but the manager (the adult) is what was most concerning. After asking about the seating arrangement and wait time with the front, I was confronted by the manager who instead of asking me about the situation quickly came over and said “don’t badger the staff… there are other restaurants you can go to….”. I was with my nieces and nephews and chose to remain calm but I was furious that she would escalate a situation instead of help it. We had already been waiting 30 min and I had two toddlers with me. We were not given a wait time when we had initially gotten there and the young ladies insinuated it wouldn’t be long. If it was just me, believe me, I would have left in a heart beat.The server was a sweetheart and the food was great as always. Love that they have gluten free options. However, I will be looking for another restaurant to enjoy family time going forward.

My family and I have been to Southern Belle’s many times and I loved going there - but not anymore. I went with a friend last week and found two pieces of eggshell in my omelette, with one piece being big enough to see. I spoke directly to the manager about the issue and she refused to do anything about it on the basis that the food is “made from scratch” and “that happens sometimes.”What’s worse is that the manager was incredibly rude about it and offered nothing - not to remake the omelette or to provide a discount or remove the meal from the bill. This instance on its own wouldn’t have been a big deal had the manager not been so unprofessional. This experience was disappointing because I used to love this place but now have no desire to go ever again. So to all those considering eating here: eat at your own risk and just know that if you find anything wrong in your food - an eggshell, piece of hair, a bug - you’ll just have to deal with it because their food is “made from scratch.”

First time at Southern Belle’s and it will definitely not be the last. We were lucky to make it an hour before their 3pm closing. Seating was very prompt as well as service. Two breakfast dishes and one lunch. It was all so delicious and the plates are really big in size. The pancakes were so fluffy and delicious, but we had to take some home because not even a quarter in and one was full. We ordered Tropical smoothies which were also very good and there’s an option to substitute skim milk for oat or almond milk which is very nice.Things to be aware of, on weekends and holidays seating (service) is allowed for 90 minutes max per table. Also, when paying with credit card, there is a 2% credit card service fee charge added to bill. There is plenty of parking as it is parking shared with other businesses.I definitely recommend Southern Belle’s for a yummy weekend breakfast or lunch.Dietary restrictions: There are option for gluten free and some vegetarian options

Our group of four order an omelette, two orders of buttermilk pancakes and blueberry crepes. The quality of food was excellent and each portion was huge! The majority of our group took part of their meal home. Service was also very good!
