Southern Belle's, a local restaurant, offers a diverse menu with both breakfast and lunch options. The sausage patties, though handmade, were reported to be dry and tough to chew, while the balance of the breakfast dishes was deemed satisfactory.
Customers praise the restaurant's delicious and generously portioned meals, including fluffy pancakes, crepes, and smoothies with the option to substitute dairy milk. The service is described as prompt, and the ample parking is a convenient feature. However, diners should be aware of the 90-minute seating limit on weekends and holidays, as well as a 2% credit card service fee.
The restaurant's menu features a range of Southern comfort food, including cheesy eggs, drop biscuits, burnt ends, Cajun cream, and fried green tomatoes. The "bonuts," a cross between a biscuit and a donut, are a unique offering. Customers have raved about the spicy chicken biscuit, which features a breaded boneless chicken thigh between a drop biscuit and cheesy eggs, topped with a generous helping of Cajun cream sauce.
The atmosphere at Southern Belle's is described as lovely and friendly, with gorgeous Tiffany lamps hanging above booths and a spacious, comfortable dining area. The restaurant has a comforting and inviting vibe, making it a popular destination for a yummy weekend breakfast or lunch, with options available for those with dietary restrictions.
