“Went for dinner, the location is perfect, very walkable, the building is gorgeous and the decor is tasteful. Ample beer selection and cocktail choices. Got the Mexican steak special with rice beans and pepper sauce. The steak was perfect, not too fatty, moist, perfectly grilled and seasoned. The tortillas were fresh, soft and warm. The rest of the food was disappointing, the beans and rice were cooked well but were completely flavorless. The sauce that was supposed to be made with peppers and spices was completely void of any flavor. Considering the price of the steak I’d choose something else.
Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian options
Kid-friendliness: Family friendly place“

“Nice but loud. Noisy. Acoustics
Dietary restrictions: I have celiacs. Many places do not know what that even is. I was surprised when they tried to accommodate. I had to try it, there are no guarantees but I had no reactions either!
Kid-friendliness: Yes yes!“

“Allegory has made my personal fav foodie list!! My favorite stop for their top notch Rueben. But of course I've had a few other of their dishes and all were very delicious. The best part is their wonderful, friendly staff. Kristen and Sarah at the helm mixing up all those exotic and wonderful drinks. I've had a different one every time I go there. I love that it is farm to table. Next time you are in Naperville try and make this restaurant part of plans for a wonderful tasty meal.“

The food was really good, but the highlight of our entire time there was our server Carla. Carla went above and beyond for us. We all agreed, she was the best serve any of us have ever had anywhere!!! Thank you Carla!!! "The Golden Girls"“

“I picked up 2 French onion soups to go. I did not get home until an hour later. Soups were still warm and delicious! The separate container with the bread and melted cheese was perfect, so it didn’t get soggy. I heard there was an egg roll soup! I MUST get that next time. Perfect lunch on a cold wintry day.“

“I would give this place 100 stars if able! I had to plan a rehearsal luncheon for my son's wedding in Joliet in mid May with only 2 months notice. Since we live in North Carolina, I had to do all the research online. Thank heaven I came across SixtyFour Reserve Room in a Google search. The manager, Andrew, contacted me right away and was so helpful in making suggestions for our event. Cheryl, the events manager, took over in finalizing all the arrangements. There are so many different options for appetizers, meal combinations, wine, cocktails and beer! Our guests were able to choose their favorites ahead of time. When we arrived on the day of the event, we were so delighted by the venue! Everything I had requested was in place, and Cheryl and our amazing server/bartender, Alex, immediately greeted us and made everyone feel welcome. The appetizers and meals were served efficiently and right on the timeline I had planned. The food was incredibly delicious with a pleasing presentation. Our guests had so much fun with the Wine Stations, and the whiskey lovers appreciated the variety of choices. Everyone raved about how much they enjoyed the food, drink and ambiance. Best of all, I was able to relax and enjoy our guests since all the work was done by Andrew, Cheryl, Alex and the kitchen staff. The cost was very reasonable, especially so close to Chicago. Highly recommended!“

“Intimate Irish bar with crazy good German food options. They aren’t shy with the pour for mixed drinks, and the prices are reasonable.
They had live music the night we were there, and it was really above average and quite enjoyable. Absolutely will return to explore more of the drinks and menu. Dinner and drinks ran about 44 dollars per person, but we chose from some of the more expensive items.
Kid-friendliness: Two families were there with young children eating dinner. The remaining patrons tended to be a bit older, 40+.“

“Stopped in for our anniversary. Atmosphere and staff were great. What I expected. Started with the crab cake, leak soup wedge salad, and Brussel sprouts . The crab cake was the best we’ve had. Soup was good. Wedge salad was just a typical wedge salads. Nothing special. Brussels were excellent.
Entres. Wife had the lobster roll and I had the seafood risotto. Lobster roll had great flavor, but lacked lobster. Lots of roll and little lobster. The seafood risotto consisted of two scallops, 3 large shrimp, and a lobster tail. Scallops were top notch, shrimp was a little bland, and lobster tail was way over cooked. It was actually difficult to cut.
Sticky toffee pudding for dessert.
Overall, mixed reviews on the food. We will be back for apps and drinks.“

“We had a wonderful experience as always! Great service, food and atmosphere! They had some recent changes to the menu and I did try one of their new food items and liked it very much. Gnocchi Alla Gorgonzola. The only thing we missed was the bread they use to serve, it changed recently and although the new one is good. Miss the old one which is like a pretzel bread with a delicious seasoned butter. Would love to see that option again! It was unique and definitely one of our favorites!“

“113 Main in Oswego is nothing short of exceptional, and every time I dine here, it continues to impress. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is welcoming and sophisticated, yet it still feels comfortable and unpretentious. The décor strikes the perfect balance between modern elegance and cozy warmth, making it ideal for anything from a casual dinner to a special celebration.
What really sets 113 Main apart is the impeccable service. The staff is not only friendly and attentive, but they’re also knowledgeable about the menu and drink options. They’re always willing to offer recommendations, and it’s clear they take pride in making sure every guest has a memorable experience. Whether you’re a regular or it’s your first time visiting, you’re treated like family.
Now, on to the food—113 Main offers a diverse menu that manages to be both creative and comforting. Every dish is crafted with care, using fresh, high-quality ingredients. Their steaks are always perfectly cooked to your preference, tender, and full of flavor, while the seafood is fresh and prepared to perfection. One of my personal favorites is their array of appetizers, which offer a unique and flavorful start to any meal. The portions are generous, but the attention to detail in every bite is what really stands out.
The drink menu is just as impressive as the food. Whether you’re in the mood for a craft cocktail, a classic glass of wine, or one of their well-chosen beers, 113 Main has something for every palate. The bartenders are true professionals, crafting each drink with precision and care. I always enjoy trying their seasonal cocktails, which are inventive and balanced. The staff can recommend the perfect pairing to complement your meal, enhancing the overall dining experience.
One of the things I appreciate most about 113 Main is the consistency. Every time I visit, I know I’m going to receive the same high level of service, delicious food, and inviting ambiance. The attention to detail, both in the kitchen and in the dining room, is what keeps me coming back time and time again.
In short, 113 Main is more than just a restaurant—it’s an experience. Whether you’re there for a romantic dinner, a family gathering, or simply a night out with friends, it offers the perfect setting. I can’t recommend 113 Main enough to anyone looking for a top-tier dining experience in Oswego. From the warm service to the outstanding food and drink, everything about this place is five stars.

“Food was pricy, but it wasn't bad. The servers were great and always asked if i needed anything else or a refill. I do like that this is one of the few places with a bike rack near by, I would say it was worth the 6 mile bike ride from my home“

“Good experience but not great. It was super busy being the first bears game of the year. Very loud and hectic so it's to be expected that the service was a little slow/not attentive so I'm not too worried about that. Buffalo chicken waffle fries were great. The Tommy Bartlett salad was pretty good too except there were slice of pear with the sticker on it and some with seeds so that wasn't cool. My friend had the chicken sandwich he said it was just alright. I feel like I'd need to go on a different day than bears opening day to get a fair experience but I'm not inclined to come back really. My least favorite of the empire group restaurants but still not bad, just not as great as the others in my opinion.“

“My wife and I had our second baby in March, and we visited Rosebud on a whim with our baby and older daughter as our first dinner out. We were greeted by Dan at the host's stand and he saw that we had a baby and sat us in a secluded section of the restaurant so as not to bother anyone. Our waitress, Deedee, was attentive and brought our food and drinks out quickly and was very helpful the entire night. We'll definitely be back!“

“Heroes is a great sports bar with food that’s better than most sports bars. I have eaten here several times over the last 3 years but it was tonight that I was impressed and decided to give a review. Don’t get me wrong the food has always been on point but if you know me a little bit from my other reviews, I don’t do them unless it’s something great. Well tonight I had the normal honor of sitting at the bar because I’m a traveler for work but tonight was different! I met a wonderful bartender named Taylor. She’s is amazing with a wonderful attitude and gifted ability to produce a common midwestern drink but different! As if you could make an Old Fashioned different and better.. well challenge accepted Taylor said, and did she deliver well heck yeah! Stop by and see Taylor (otherwise known as the girl with blue hair) psss there’s a story there too but she doesn’t have blue hair anymore..“

“Our first time at Fuse’d in Plainfield and we were very impressed! From the moment we arrived, the ambiance was lively, and the service was impeccable. We enjoyed every bit of the Manchego Caesar salad, Butter Chicken Bowl, and Pistachio Crusted Salmon. The Bread Pudding for dessert was divine. We'll definitely be back for more!“
