“Incredible brunch spot - Everything is delicious from the bonuts (fantastic blueberry spready) to the breakfast sandwich and omelets. Their in house hot sauce is 10/10 dynamite. “I’ll start by sharing the things I did like first then the things I think could use some work. Food and service was very good, its a little expensive per person depending on what you get. I got the gnocchi, a cinnamon sugar donut, and a chai tiramisu latte. No complaints anywhere there. The chai was $7 but its a large container so I didn’t feel as annoyed about it anymore, I think the pricing is fair for such a big drink. I would maybe offer different sizing just because people like me struggle with large amounts of caffeine but I did okay! The place was clean, aesthetic, I really liked the staff, we got our food fast, it was easy to talk. We had no issue finding parking but it is downtown Naperville and we came on a Wednesday. I noticed the manager walking around helping, I liked that he was involved. He looked a little annoyed at times though despite everything being pretty mellow.

Here are the things I think could use some tweaking. They don’t split checks, they offered to split it down the middle but in this economy that’s crazy. Just do separate orders/checks. Thankfully my friend and I had zelle. I just don’t always love using zelle because it shows up weird in my statements so I’d prefer to just split the check. We were kind of confused by the checkout process because the receipt didn’t say where to tip, turns out it’s on the phone. It was a little chilly in there so I’d maybe just recommend bringing a light jacket, not that big of a deal though. Not huge tweaks I think the only thing that was annoying was the checkout process could use some work.“

“We absolutely love this place. The food is great, the customer service fantastic, and they always donate to local schools and help support the community. The owners are incredibly personable, and always personally greet us when we come in. You can always see one of the owners helping customers, running the register, taking out food, and/or busing a table. The absolutely lead by example, and I believe this is one of the main reasons Sweet Toast delivers incredible food and customer experiences.“

And it's very dark in that hallway when you go back to the restrooms. But we love going to this restaurant Kava and take friends there often as well.“

“I've been there 2x this week for breakfast. First time I had the chicken fried steak and fruit. While not much on presentation (not an easy dish to " spiff up"), it was delicious. The service was a bit slow. Today I had the gypsy skillet and substituted for the fruit. Better presentation. Server remembered me and was was very attentive. I hope to go back for their new dinner. Maybe they could table tent some of the different dinners?“

“I have to write a super positive review about a waitress here. This is my favorite place to have a wholesome, down to earth, old-fashioned breakfast or lunch. The food is so tasty and done well but the main reason I comeback is because of the waitress Suzanne! She is so personable and attentive. She lives in the area so you can converse with her about local issues and know she is feeling the pain about things going on in our town right now. She's gentle and funny and really knows her stuff. I depend on her recommendations often. She is a hidden treasure in Joliet and should be recognized for the exceptional job she brings to her job.“

“Had a delightful dinner last night at CAFE ROMEO. It is easiest to enter their parking from E. Romeo Rd. We stopped for dinner. The menu is varied and the prices are very reasonable. We tried the soup, a large salad with seafood, a breaded pork tenderloin with mashed and gravy. Everything was delicious. Had things on the menu we had not seen at other restaurants for a long time. Will definitely be back.“

A special shoutout to Juan, who made our experience even better. He was incredibly friendly, attentive, and welcoming throughout our visit. His customer service was outstanding and made us feel right at home.

“We went on Valentine’s Day because everything else had an hour wait. We came in and there were about 8 other tables in there. Stephanie was kind and worked her tail off as more people came in. The food was hot, it tasted good, came out in a decent time frame. The table was clean, the place was decorated for Valentine’s Day. It was really a good time. We will definitely be back if the service was like it was that day.“
