The food was good, once we got it. There was maybe 8 tables outside that had people sat. Ordered a burger and chicken strips. 45 mins later I finally seen my waiter. Oh it will be right out. I would hope so, I could have cooked it with a bic lighter in 45 mins. So took an hour to get the food. By then the fly were out, and so were the mosquitoes. Wasn't the greatest experience.

My wife and I have been looking for wineries to enjoy without having to drive to St. Charles or Defiance Missouri. I found Copper Dock online and decided to drive from Jacksonville to give them a try. We are so glad we did. Coming in “the back way” it looks like you’re lost but your journey will be rewarded. Once there you walk towards the entrance along a beautiful tree lined lake to be greeted with a smile and lead to a double decker dock on the previously mentioned lake. Our waiter’s name was Danny and he was super friendly and knowledgeable about the available wines. After we placed our order we were greeted by the local wildlife (swans and turtles) as they swam up to the dock. Danny was quick to return with our drinks and food. Overall I would highly recommend Copper Dock to anyone looking for a relaxing afternoon by the lake. It was well worth the almost 2 hour drive.
Pro: The Wine and cocktails were great and they provided a wide variety to choose from. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The scenery was beautiful and relaxing.
Con: We ordered the grilled chicken nachos which tasted ok but were cold as if they simply put some chips on the platter and poured the cheese right out of a jar then threw a few jalapeños on it. I won’t let it deter me from visiting again, I may just be a bit more selective about my food choices.

Beautiful location that’s relaxing and stress-free. The grounds are well kept. We ordered the custom flatbread and it arrived piping hot and delicious. The staff is friendly and our server was on top of every need. Only a few of the wines are bottled on site but we found several others from around the country that we liked. Prices were reasonable.

Was there for Mother’s Day today, terrible service, our entire order was wrong. They forgot to put in my husbands order for chicken strips and didn’t bring them out until our entire table was finished eating. Then when a lady in a yellow jacket brought it out she asked if we were upset, I said yes and she said Nice! and walked away. Extremely disappointed as we’ve came here the last couple years but we will not be returning.

My daughter had her rehearsal dinner, wedding and reception at Copper Dock. The food was amazing. And we've been back several times just to eat. Even on warm days, the upper deck always has a nice breeze. I would and have recommended Copper Dock to several people. And will continue to do so.

The eating area had a nice view since it was by the lake. The food was good. It was kind of expensive though, but that's to be expected. The live music was a plus, but too bad they didn't sing Achy Breaky Heart while I was there. Oh well, I'll survive. ?

We went to Copper Dock yesterday for lunch and to watch the band. Our server Dawn was amazing! She was very attentive even as busy as they were. We had a few flatbreads and our son had the chicken tender basket. The food was great and the drinks were delicious! We are looking forward to our next visit!
