Jake's basket was delicious and very filling. However, don't forget some pie! Very nice portions and the people were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend the Dogwood Inn and look forward to going back to try more!

Great service, Jen was incredibly welcoming and friendly. The place has a quiet and friendly small-town feel. The food was pretty good, juicy fried chicken basket and solid BBQ pulled pork. I'd skip the buffet (didn't look too appetizing) and stick to the main menu.

I hate to leave a low review, however this place was truly disappointing. The food was less than subpar.. I think we left more on our plates than we ate. The chicken was spoiled and smelled, the corned beef was a solid brick and the sauce tasted like rotten mayo. The onion rings were really the only thing edible that we ordered. I left feeling sick to my stomach. We won't return.

is this place open ? I have driven by many times in the past. I drove by again tonight, the first time this year. The place was closed and there is a for sale sign out front. The windows were very dirty from the inside and things look pretty old and dusty. I'm going to be back out that way again in a week, I would like to stop in if it is still open. Sorry for the one star, I could not post the question without posting at least one star.

The Buffet Idea is Outstanding!! So need one in our area. However the food was not very good. The breakfast quiche was unedible. Scrambled Eggs had no flavor nor the breakfast gravy. Fried chicken was good though. Battered and flavorful. Mashed potatoes again no flavor and dry. Nice service everyone was nice. Salt and pepper shakers were dirty and sticky. I probably won't go back but again the idea of the Dogwood Inn is a great idea. Just needs a bit of work.

What a poor excuse for a restaurant. Forts, everything on the table was grungy. The flat wear was hazy from poor dishwashing. The plastic water glass was chipped and hazy. The plastic water pitcher was grossly hazy. Service was slow. Some food came out long after others had been served. Both soups were unexplainable bad/cheap canned stuff. Both sandwiches were bad; it was the worst Reuben I’ve ever had. Dessert came with some meals, no choice, just vanilla naked. That was explained by the waitress. As we were about to leave she asked if we wanted dessert to take with. No explanation about what it was, if it was a gift or what! Then the use of a credit card would be a 4% extra charge. Never again!!!
