Clean, simple needs, BUT FABULOUS FOOD. I love the AlPastor tacos, chips, salsa, beans n rice. I drive up from Dixon just for my lunch or diner when hubby is playing volleyball, and we meet the kids there now n then. Everyone has something different and Jesus gets it all done and right.Vegetarian options: Ask...he has options
The steak and chorizo burrito was huge and delicious! The staff was friendly. I got the burritos to go and they had them ready in about 10 minutes.

Spent the morning hiking at Mississippi Palisades, and then stopped here for an AMAZING burrito! Also, the chips are phenomenal!

Based on all of the positive reviews here, my family and I expected much, much better from this restaurant.First off, and most important to me, the food wasn't anything special that I couldn't make as well or better, given the time and ingredients to do so.Secondly, there really wasn't much service and there was only a container of napkins on each table. No condiments whatsoever. Heck, our meals were brought to us without even been given silverware (yes, our meals needed a knife and fork).Thirdly, and although lastly.. honestly, this place felt like a bit of a dive. It was dark, dank, completely lacking anything that might be considered a positive atmosphere for dining, and uncomfortably hot.I feel bad about offering a review like this, but I'm just being completely honest.I can't imagine we'll ever go back, I'm very sorry to say. It's obviously a family owned business, so I can only wish for a successful future on their behalf. Best of luck!Wheelchair accessibility: I wouldn't call this place wheelchair friendly at all.

Today was our first time, and we loved the food. We had carry out, spicy chicken tacos that were fresh and delicious, beef tacos, rice and beans. Prices are so reasonable, the people are super nice. We're already planning to go back for more this weekend!

Great Mexican food at a great price. The restaurant is nothing fancy but the owners are very friendly. Lunch or dinner, great place to pickup orders to go or eat in. Highly recommend.
