This is our second time doing this wine trail with a shuttle driver and it is a great weekend away! Wrightway provides a great driver that knows the area and we get to chat with people at each winery. There are some delicious wines available here and some good food, too.

Gotta love the Hickory Ridge Winery and their fabulous Eclipse Port wine. Warms the soul!

Beautiful drive.

What a great experience! I went to all but one of the wineries. They each have something for everyone. I prefer dry wines, and was not disappointed. This is definitely worth the trip.

I recently won the photography contest put on by the Shawnee Wine Trail Lodging Association. I won a two night stay in any of their lodgings. My husband and I just spent the most fabulous weekend enjoying our stay and cannot thank the association enough for their generous prize. Beautiful venue and views all around! Some really fun times were had here and I even learned a few things! Even though I'm not an avid wine drinker, they really had some delicious flavors.
