We are so happy we found this beautiful restaurant. There are a lot of history in this place.
The food was fantastic. But the best part was knowing Mary and Devon. They were so kind and nice, they spoke a lot with us. A stop there is worth it! Thanks! Naty and Lucas from Argentina.

Saturday Road Trip, ended at Old Log Cabin at 1:40p. I was going to get takeout, since my dog was in the car. But the staff insisted I bring him in. He was immediately given water and bacon. The staff was so friendly, the cheeseburger and tots delicious, and my dog and I will come back for seconds! Thanks for a great memory!

My husband and I stopped here with our one year old during our road trip. If I could give the service 10 stars I would. Mary and Devon were the two women who waited on us and the service was above and beyond. When my one year old became restless, Mary held her and showed her pictures around the restaurant so my husband and I could eat. Mary and Devon also provided toys and extra snacks. The atmosphere was welcoming and family friendly. I had a roast beef sandwich with sweet potatoe tater tots, my husband had a triple bacon burger, and my toddler had chicken strips, with cottage cheese and apple sauce. All of the food was delicious.

In no restaurant in the United States, of any price range, had I been served so warmly. Plus the good taste of your food. Worth the detour to Pontiac to visit this restaurant on old Route 66.
We had breakfast at the Old Log Cabin and had the most amazing experience. The food was delicious and the service was excellent, Mary made us feel like friends,. We are travelers from NZ so we were passing through doing what is left of the Original Route 66 Highway. If I lived here this place would definitely be my go to for
breakfast or lunch. Thank you for the wonderful memories ❤️ Marlene and Baz
Delicious food in a quaint, homey setting. Locals love the breakfast options and the coffee is always hot and delicious! Open til 2 pm Monday thru Saturday. Historically, this is the log cabin restaurant that was picked up and turned 180 degrees to face Route 66 in the 1920s.
I have never had a bad meal or bad service here it is a wonderful place to stop and enjoy your food they serve breakfast and lunch and you can enjoy your meals and enjoy the people that help serve you it's a beautiful place
