I travel to Princeton on business and have stopped at this place for dinner 4 times in the last few months with a group of people from work.

There has been a significant delay in getting our food (Choose the restaurant to cook steak for us), the last couple of times we have been here.

This week during our visit (weekday earlier in the week), we had to wait for over an hour to get our cooked steaks, which is unacceptable for a dine-in steak restaurant.

The quality of steaks and food here is average and I don't think they are able to get the steak temperature right from my experience dining here. This place is definitely overrated, short staffed and does not meet service standards for a dine-in restaurant. Would not recommend this place due to their average quality of food, poor service and a bad dining experience.

Well worth the trip. Don't understand some of these reviews though. Some complained about steak not done enough? Hello those hot things around you a called Grills! Another said potatoes were too small. Maybe get another! Sorry..just my thoughts.........

By the end of the night, the waitress was my best friend. Steak was cooked perfectly and they handled our big group fantastically.

A fairly unique experience where you get the chance to cook your own prime cut of steak. Season it how you want, baste it in butter how you want, it's your grill for that time.
You can also pay a few dollars more and have it cooked for you but I had a lot of fun chatting with the chef and other customers around me.

Would be considered a basic family-style mid-level restaurant/bar in any other town. Over-priced at $35 for a basic steak ($3 more to have THEM cook it? found this strange, who wants to sit by a firepit for half-hour cooking a steak you paid $35 for when it's 90 degrees outside???)
- When the steak finally arrived almost 45 minutes after ordering, it was fine, but the meal was basic at best. Baked potatoes are cooked well in advance and literally sit in a bucket near the salad bar, the waitress grabs one as your steak comes out - of course the potato was rubbery, dry and small since they sit there for hours.
- The salad bar was basic with just lettuce and a few toppings, but the room with the salad bar is also used for storage. Something you'd see in a bar, but strange to see a dozen or more salad dressing containers (warm?) and other food items sitting in boxes.
- $55 for a basic steak and soda in a 'low-end Applebees' it was overpriced and would have been better to stop in Peru for more options.

We came to celebrate our anniversary here. But the server seemed off, not very attentive or pleasant. Didn't get the A1 I requested and only asked my husband what he'd like to eat (I know I came with him that night). ☺️ The steaks are still very good and the salad bar is one of the best!
