Union Ale is amazing. I appreciate the staffs and managers kindness to me even though I have autism and their food is amazing and really good. Owner George is very nice. The restaurant is in good condition. Amazing wings. Must come back. 10/10.
Best local bar with best food and good prices!

It’s a dive… but a good one.
I’ve stopped here a few times after the gym, or just because it was on my mind and the wings are definitely the reason to come back. What I respect most is the consistency. Last four times I’ve been here, same quality, same flavor, same execution. That matters.
I get the breaded wings every time, habit at this point, so that’s what I’m speaking on. These aren’t those tiny, sad wings you see some places try to pass off. They’re fuller, meatier wings, and they actually hold their texture even when sauced. Every bite had a crunch. That’s hard to pull off when you sauce wings.
I went with Original Hot and Garlic Parm. The Garlic Parm was crazy good, whatever coating they use actually carries the flavor instead of drowning it in grease. As for the Original Hot: look… if a place can’t get the simple things right, everything else falls apart. They got it right.
Overall? Solid wings. Worth it. And worth coming back for

Great food, fish fry was plentiful and service was excellent
In Union Ale House, one discovers a familiar refuge, not grand, not glamorous, but a place where weary travelers and suburban pilgrims gather to briefly forget the gravity pulling at their days. The walls tell stories in scuffed wood and the faint perfume of fryer oil, a reminder that time moves forward even in places built to feel timeless. Burgers arrive thick and earnest, fried foods sizzle in noble defiance of mortality, and the beer flows with the steady reliability of a river unwilling to question its own path.
There is comfort here, a humble, unpretentious solace. People speak not of ambition or transcendence, but of commutes, children, and the quiet victories of surviving another week. The staff moves with the kind of hospitality that doesn’t aspire to perfection, only to kindness, which in our age is the rarer thing. And though nothing here attempts to shock the senses or rewrite memory, there is a strange peace in that.
Union Ale House does not chase greatness; it accepts the world as it is, a place of hunger, repetition, small joys, and ordinary evenings. And somehow, by surrendering to that truth, it becomes something quietly worthy: a place where the burden loosens, the plate is warm, and the world feels, if only for a short time, gentle enough to bear.

I tried ordering food and even gave the waitress my credit card number for a delivery order… I never received my order and the waitress who took my order never called me or anything about my delivery… Basically waited 4 hours for no reason and no update

I was motivated to write this review so I can remember this place the next time I'm in town.
Kind of your typical dive bar but with a surprisingly elderly clientele. At least one the day I was here. I'm not usually a fan of live music but it was pretty good.
I had a burger and it was we quite good and worth it alone but oh my God the onion rings! Amongst the best I've ever had!
Can't wait to come back the next time I'm in the area.
Edit: as promised I came back about a year later. No old people or live band this time but still great food and service and my new home away from home.
