Memories! First thing I experience once inside....I'm a grade schooler again. The unforgettable smell of outstanding original foods, the "H" adorned seats. The welcoming smiles set to take my order. Nothing like it back then. Nothing else like it now.
Most mornings before school, dad would stop and send me in. They had just started breakfast service then, and was the first sausage, egg, and cheese biscuit this 8 yo had ever seen.

I wouldn’t dine in, not inviting or that clean. I ordered a Harold and they made it like a breakfast sandwich. Staff would rather be outside smoking than inside waiting on customers. The 24th and Broadway location is the best one.
