The food is consistently excellent—fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. They’ve done a phenomenal job renovating the space; it’s stylish, inviting, and full of charm. Whether you’re grabbing dinner with friends, enjoying a date night, or just want a great meal in a great atmosphere, this place delivers. The attention to detail, both in the kitchen and the ambiance, makes 1860’s one of the best spots in the area. Highly recommend!

I would not recommend this place to no one. We (8 of us) ordered then we were told they didn't have the food to complete half our orders. When the food did come. They forgot the meatballs on my wife spaghetti and meatballs, and it was so cold she didn't eat it. My son ordered a burger and the burger was not done. I ordered the shrimp po boy with fried shrimp and when it arrived it had boiled shrimp, when I bit into my sandwich all I tasted was the dill pickle that was under the sandwich.

i usually don’t post negative reviews, and i’ve given 1860 Public House multiple chances, but after tonight, i can’t recommend it in good faith. the space is beautiful and the staff has been kind in the past, but repeated issues — missing items in takeout orders, inconsistent food quality, and a lack of menu availability — have added up.
on valentine’s day, we did the prix fixe dinner, but the value didn’t match the price. they were out of the side we chose, offered no alternative except something i am allergic to, and no accommodation was made. tonight was the final straw. we were seated at the bar (not ideal for date night but understandable on a busy night), but the service felt dismissive. i asked about the menu and was met with what felt like annoyance. i ordered a medium-rare sirloin and received something closer to beef jerky — dry, overcooked, and way too salty. our drinks were never refilled nor inquired about, despite being in direct eyesight of the bartender/waitress. they offered to remake the steak, but the energy felt more irritated than apologetic, and i didn’t want to stay. i paid for my side and left hungry.
i really wanted to love this place — it has potential — but after repeated disappointments, i won’t be back.
