“Kate and Kyle of Sling and Scoops are amazing! I used them for a build your own sundae bar at my birthday party and they could not have been any nicer or easier to work with. They set up a tasting for me to chose my flavors, worked with me on all the toppings I could want, set up a very fun ice cream kart and provided excellent service to all my guests. The ice cream is as good as if not better than their service. I cannot say enough good things about them and their product. Highly, highly recommend.”

“Not only is it faster than most drive-through fast food places these days (often our food arrives within barely minutes of us sitting down), but the folks are SO attentive to checking back in with you to make sure you have what you need. Everything’s hot, fresh, reasonably priced, and you get great service. They never pressure you to get moving when you’re just visiting with friends and family, and they seem to genuinely want to make sure you’re happy with your dining experience. “The perfect Sunday afternoon drive! Burnt Ends provided fuel for the journey. We chose a sample platter with hushpuppies and onion rings as sides. Fall of the bone ribs, Juicy pulled chicken, spicy hot link, and delicious brisket. The hushpuppies were perfectly seasoned, and the batter on the onion rings crisp and delicous. The sauces:sweet heat-balanced and my favorite. The mustard sauce paired perfectly with the brisket. A must stop in!!Enjoying life 1 sip, 1 bite, and 1 small town at a time. Explore everything!”

“My daughter and I came for lunch with my infant grandson. The food is good. If you dine in, they put your meal in to go containers and you pick it up at the counter just like it's to go.Parking: The parking lot is small but most patrons seem to prefer pick up so they're not parked very long.”

“The Smokin' Aces Poker League of which I'm a member, play Texas Hold 'Em there on Thursday evenings. The group numbers around 20-25 people. I'm speaking of myself. The ownership makes us feel welcome by greeting us with smiles and a wave as we trickle in. The bartenders know our drink preferences and nod to us and we nod back. They include us in their conversations about the Community doins'. Sporting events are always on the many TVS. Food is served hot and fast. I believe it is a nice asset to the community of Red Bud and southern Illinois.Parking: Close parking, close and convenient wheelchair access.”

It’s a nice bar and grill that you can sit down and get a good meal at (their menu is huge and I struggle to pick something everytime we go because there are so many good options). They have fun seasonal drinks, daily specials and you can still easily hold a conversation with the people around you too. A must try!”

“The food was really good I would come again. I didn’t like that I received my bill with a charge of $1.41 for water. I think that the facility should make it very clear that water and using a card for payment are chargeable items as well. Next time I’ll bring my water bottle in.”

“Angie, I have been going to the bullpen for quit of few years. Never once did I have an experience you are describing. We have been there when they have been very busy, never a problem!! I can’t imagine any waitress saying she needs a break and hope you’re not eating. I have never heard any waitress complaining about being busy or tired. They are a bunch of friendly hard working women. Their service is impeccable and so is the food!!”

“Nice relaxing place to Stay. I would definitely recommend this place especially if you are a boater or a fisherman or someone that just wants to sit next to the river and relax. Some sites might be a little tight for bigger rigs. I'm pulling a 35 ft fifth wheel with a F350 crew cab, 8 foot bed. I fit just fine!April 12, 2024”
