Driving though town at lunch time. When I see Country Cooking sign in a small town, you have to stop. My all the meats Denver Omelette was excellent. Other dinners were enjoying their burgers. The highlight of my breakfast was the home made coconut cream pie. Tall and fluffy. Naturally, I had to take pie for our evening dinner. We stopped here for breakfast about 9am on Friday 10/13. No wait. There are about 14 tables in there. The menu is relatively small with the normal offerings. I had a Belgian waffle and a side of country ham while my husband had the all meat omelet. The server was attentive, keeping our coffees filled and the food didn't take too long. The butter and syrup were in the little plastic containers but the cream for my coffee was real. My waffle was warm enough that the butter melted....read full review
