Ordered the burnt ends and Mac and cheese. The burnt ends were average, not bad or anything, but more fat than meat and was served warm not hot. The Mac and cheese was great and service was awesome. Would give it another try for other dishes in the future. Immediate seating and cold beer.
It is the best bardic restront in the state of Illinois
Just had the worst experience here ever, they literally were cleaning and closing while we were eating, if you didn’t want to serve us say hey we are going to close soon sorry can you come back another day or take your food to go…. yes we got there about 30 min before closing but most places were out of power. The food was thrown together, mac and cheese was cold. When has it ever been ok to start closing, putting chairs on the tables and sweeping when you have customers at a table eating.
Their BBQ is great, but I always end up getting the burger. It's the best burger around.
The whiskey slush is great too.
Ordered wings for a pickup. Showed up 20 minutes after I placed my order. The server was very nice and we got our wings and took the 4 minute drive home. Was not pleased with the wings. Very dry. Was also shorted a couple pieces. It was a Saturday at 6pm. Will not be returning
Enjoyed this place. Had the burnt ends (appetizer) and a hot link sandwich with mac n cheese. Burnt ends were really good in particular, had read reviews they frequently run out of them or they sucked lol, but I thought they were some of the better ones I’d had in the STL area.
My server was also good and attentive, I’d eat here again if in town.

Usual suspects with its BBQ menu at decent prices. Service was exceptional. Located on busy main street in a small town so parking is hit or miss.

Met some friends for lunch here. The taco boats are a must have!!! The rest of the food we ordered was great and even though it was very busy the service was top notch.

Definitely good food. Pork rinds are seasoned just right.

The service was slow. We waited for drinks for about ten minutes, our bill for twenty minutes, but at least the food was out promptly. We got the brisket dinner to share and it was dry. They also had two choices of BBQ sauce, which at a place known for BBQ, is terrible.
Side note: Cole slaw stole the show! Must try it

The food is great. I enjoyed a smoked chicken and the sides were nice. I was too late to try the burnt ends. They sell out fast so get there early.

Did not get the burnt ends sandwich I wanted as they only serve it at certain times. I was sad.
