Great Italian restaurant in a setting that feels like southern Italian al fresco dining. I had a stuffed eggplant with what seemed like an amazing sun-dried tomato and meat sausage sauce topped with melted cheese. Every dish at the table evoked a southern Italian twist of flavor. Definitely a place worth visiting and putting on your go-to list, and every bit worth the few extra minutes to get there. There's also a fun bar for solo/2-3 diners.

The veal piccata is a children’s portion. Cut corners on food quality everywhere else. I was there with a large part on a Tuesday so maybe it was just an off day. I remember this place being incredible. Unfortunately, I didn’t get that experience this last time

You ever go to a restaurant and immediately think, “Ah, finally, someone gets it”? That’s Paisano’s. Great ambiance — lively but not ear-splitting, which meant I could actually hear the couple my wife and I were with and every word from the young couple next to us. Let’s just say… I now know a lot more about their relationship than I probably should.

The place was packed on a Tuesday night — a Tuesday! Do people in Richmond even have weeknights, or is every night a weekend here?

Anyway, the veal… tender, perfect. Exactly how veal should be. Not chewy, not tough — just melt-in-your-mouth good.

And dessert? Forget about it. Some ice cream and chocolate chip cookie creation that had to be at least 2,000 calories. I did the math in my head, then ignored it. Worth every single one.

Five stars. If every Tuesday night meal were like this, I might actually start looking forward to Tuesdays.

The dinner started off great the bread and lobster bisque were tremendous. The food was lack luster I had the chicken marsala and the wife had the chicken vesuvio both dishes lacked flavor and pasta side dish was plain and cold. I would go back and see how the steaks are.

Drove about an hour away and it was worth the drive from the menu having steak to pasta to fish to chicken there is something on the menu for almost anybody (but nothing for the Karen's or Kevins). The service was spot on adult servers that know what there doing and do it well. And the decor very Italian. It's a must to dine in your lifetime. Will be calling very soon for another reservation very soon.

Surprisingly large inside -- smaller rooms make for an intimate setting. Good wine, great chicken parmigiana, and delicious meatballs. The pasta was a bit overcooked. Despite that, I'd go back.

The food and service have been equally superb every time we are here. Everything is delicious and the service is friendly, helpful, and accommodating.

I found myself taking a road trip to god's country and mapped out a journey here, on my way home. I recently saw them highlighted by Mario Turano (the bread guy) and took his advice on getting the delicious chicken parm. I guess they also have it with a ribeye. Comes with potatoes or pasta, I went with the spaghetti and meat sauce. The bread is great and can easily fill you up, be careful. I was stuffed,.. but the sweet hostess brought me some of their house made gelato. I usually don't like salted caramel but it was delicious. Orange sherbet cleansed the palate. Wonderful waitress checking in frequently. Has a great feel on the inside of a northwoods lodge, in a historic building. (1846) They've swallowed up 3 other units next door and have al fresco dining too. I guess there's no set closing time, depending on patrons at the bar. Kitchen typically closes at 9pm.
