I recommend the vegetable fried rice, shrimp fried rice, sesame seed chicken and sweet n sour chicken.. also the general tos/govenor's chicken is excellent if you like alittle more heat! I did notice they have a sign in the window looking to hire someone who can answer the phone and take orders!!”

“My husband and I stopped here for dinner based on great reviews we’d read, and the food still far outpaced our expectations! I’ve never had a hummus exploding with as many flavors as theirs. We started with the black bean hummus (served warm) and veggies, then hangover salad, wagyu beef street tacos and margherita pizza. Everything was beautifully prepared, and the ingredients tasted super fresh — no mean feat up north in November — with layers of flavors and textures. The interior is cozy but not crowded. The bonus here is that their prices are so reasonable. We’ve paid more for meals that we’ve enjoyed far less. We live in the Chicago suburbs but will make the trip up here for dinner again, I guarantee. My husband was possibly more impressed than I was, and that’s hard to do when it comes to food”

“Tried an iced mocha latte that my wife ordered and promptly wished she had ordered two. It actually tasted like high quality coffee and not just ice, sugar and milk like most iced lattes out there. We would definitely return if in the area again. Friendly and fast service as well.”

“Hazel’s Diner Tarot and High Tea April 2024 My daughter and I attended “Tarot and High Tea” at Hazel’s Diner and enjoyed THE BEST tasting food of any High Tea we’ve ever been to. All of the finger sandwiches are on their homemade breads. We especially enjoyed the roast beef, and the turkey. From the sweet things on the tea tower our mutual favorite was the lemon custard filled croissant. There were plenty of flavored tea selections for every palate. And what a fun addition to have a tarot card reading! We love High Tea and have been to: The Palm Court at both The Drake in Chicago and The Plaza in NYC, The Tea Room at Harrod’s in London, Tea at 1024 in Honolulu, HI, and High Tea at The Baker House in Lake Geneva. The tea tower of food at Hazel’s High Tea beats all of them with their fresh, homemade food. You can taste the love and care that goes into every morsel. We will be back again and again!”

“I visited Toast and Roast which was recommended by my brother. The atmosphere was awesome and very i inviting, not to mention extremely clean! The food was great, especially the pumpkin cheesecake muffins. They were Light, fresh, moist, and very flavorful. I’d recommend this establishment to anyone and I look forward to my next visit.”
