Had an unfortunate experience last week. Paisano's has been my fav restaurant for along time. I ALWAYS order the same thing !! A great server there once told me EXACTLY how to order it, "Caesar salad add 2 sides of fried shrimp" ...and i've never had an issue. My server Oteda Z was rude from the jump. Even my bf noticed who is the nicest guy ever!! He never says ANYTHING & he almost told her he hopes she has a better night.. I order my salad exactly the same way & she tried to offer pasta, so I elaborated, explaining I always get the same thing, etc etc... SHE CHARGED ME FOR A DINNER AND A CEASAR SALAD!!! $31 to add shrimp to my salad!!! So my Ceasar Salad w/ Shrimp was $42 More than my bf's bday pork chop dinner ! Plus she didn't offer us cracked pepper.. while offering it to every other table. I've worked in the sevice industry so I am usually extra understanding but she was literally the worst server we have ever had! I'll still go back but if she's ever out server again I will just sit at the bar Attaching picture of receipt!! REMINDER I had a ceasar salad add shrimp but was charged for a shrimp dinner AND a ceasar salad . I would have tipped her more than the difference !! It's the point of her attitude & over charging .

What a cute place. I had the Branzino - and I was very impressed. Cooked to perfection our waitress was super efficient and quick and the decor and comfort you feel like at home not rushed. I will definitely be back.

I can't say enough good things about this place. The food is awesome. The service was fantastic and I will definitely leave it back. I had the Bronzino, which was likely breaded in a very light cream sauce, not overpowering, beautifully done, delicate, and so much flavor. The hot bread came to the table, wrapped up and warm with the olive oil and the cheese, I really appreciate it was the owner came up to the table gave his recommendations making sure everything was good. We didn't feel rushed and again. I cannot say enough things about this restaurant and definitely will be back. Good food. Great price lovely decor.

This is a beautiful hidden gem in downtown Richmond. Perfect atmosphere and great service. The food is incredible; honestly the best Italian I have had in all of Illinois. Highly recommend the calamari, sea scallops, and mangotini! We had a few different flavors of homemade gelato and key lime pie for dessert and all were amazing. Never had better gelato! All 9 of us in our party had great meals.

This is a great spot for Italian food and steaks. We ordered a fillet and baked potato that was a nice size portion, perfectly cooked and delicious. The other dish was the lasagna. This was freshly made, nice portion and also delightful. Good sized portion as well. Service was fast, professional and very kind. Owner even took the time to introduce himself. Ambiance was great. Beautiful restaurant and unique design. Dinner with drinks and dessert for 2 was just under $100. Great value. Highly recommend

So I’m not one to normally write reviews, but I ordered a glass of wine and I have a couple sips. I notice a glare, point down my flashlight, and this. Filled with flies. I don’t want to make a deal out of it, but I know I’ve just drank probably 5 of these little guys. The hostess and waitress are pleasant, but seem to gloss over the issue with a free bottle of wine. It’s a good gesture, but I am still disgusted with the fact that it happened in the first place. Very bad second experience.

We went for early dinner. Our waitress Jessica was wonderful, she was great explaining and recommending options for us. We had the rolled stuffed eggplant and chicken parmigiana, it was wonderful. Very nice atmosphere. Would definitely recommend.

1st timer, loved every bit. Strong martini, fried calamari, pork chop Siciliano. I will be going back.
We came because my friend had been here before and LOVES the sea bass and lobster bisque. It looked and smelled amazing. So, I understood completely when I saw it!The bread was good, I got a small chopped salad and the greens weren't crisp at all. The dressing and chicken peas were good. But the texture was of a salad that had been sitting for a couple hrs with dressing on it.I got eggplant parmesean for my main course. It was good, but too greasy for my taste. But, I took half home and it was really good cold!We splurged and got desserts. The canolli shell was perfectly crisp and the filling reminiscent of the ones I used to get in NYC and NE NJ. But, instead of pistachios or mini chocolate chips they dipped each end of the filled canolli in peanuts that were dyed green, which was really unexpected and overpowered the otherwise amazing canolli.I enjoyed the meal overall. Portions wete generous. But, for me it definitely wasn't worth the price or drive. Sorry!!!

We ate dinner there last night, food was outstanding like always. But our waitress was too busy talking to this other table then waiting on her tables. After we sat down she took a drink order and said she would be back with bread. It was awhile till she came with the bread because she was having a personal conversation with that table (my husband went to the restroom and came back and she was still talking to that table). Then when she took our order she never asked if we would like to add a salad on our order, it's been awhile since we ate there so we couldn't remember if it came with salad or not. My husbands side was the wrong pasta but he didn't say anything. She never came over to ask if everything was OK after our dinner arrived by someone else. She always appeared in a hurry to get back to that table to finish her conversation. I'm sorry but for the prices we should get great service. I normally tip really well ... she didn't even deserve the 15% we left her. She was friendly but preoccupied last night, that type of service does not belong at a high end restaurant.

Chicken parm is really good, but they upcharge you $10 just for changing the sauce to vodka? The bussers are really good as you never have to ask for a water refill. The waitress we had was really snooty, but the food is good..... waitress also told us they use Barilla brand noodles... like what.
