Food is overrated, pricey, and the owners are snobs.
We ate at the BratHaus on Tuesday for lunch. The food and service was excellent and the owner, Jerry, was kind enough to listen to stories of my childhood, working in the hardware store that my great grandfather started back in the early 1900s. Was lucky enough to work for my grandpa there while in middle school. Great to see some of the original things that have been kept. We will be back next time we visit.
Chris, our bartender, was awesome! He was knowledgeable about all the beers and cocktails, and gave great recommendations. He chatted with us but also kept a keen eye on the bar and never missed serving his patrons. His barback, Connor, kept up a good pace and was always active. We ate at the bar but the servers looked to be excellent too. My only complaint would be the hostess who I thought was an owner by her loud and bossy attitude with her fellow coworkers.
