Looking forward to trying your restaurant Roger after the Ren Fair. We live in Colorado, but I grew up eating Dog n Suds on the south side of Chicago, I miss the charbroiled cheese burgers and famous root beer and floats. See you at Richmond Dog n Suds on August 9th 2025.. PS haven't been there yet, but if you have the original menu I'll love it so I'll give you 5 stars for now..

This feels like a borderline-mandatory road trip pit stop, and not just because it's a stone's throw from Wisconsin. A throwback to a different dining/car culture era, it actually feels a little unintuitive at first, simply because we don't really do car-centric dining like this anymore. Dog N Suds asks you to slow down, have a hot dog and a root beer float, enjoy the shade and the cool tunes, and relax before you head back on your drive. Super friendly, too. It's worth a stop for sure.

First time here and had a coney dog and it was AMAZING! Our order was taken right away and the service was quick!

It was super busy when we went, but the staff kept up with everyone and made sure that we were able to order rather quickly. Our food was brought to our car by their little kid helpers and it was so cute. The sandwiches are rather large so make sure you come hungry and make sure to try the root beer
