This place rocks. I got La Vegano and it was phenomenal. They had a bunch of other vegan options that were clearly labeled. I'm thinking about planning another trip just to try the Jibarito.

My boyfriends co worker recommended this spot and after he tried it, he knew we had to try it together. We had the steak sandwich, trio empanadas, and some other items to share. Everything we tried was delicious and filling. Next time I think we will do take out because the seats were a bit uncomfortable. We will definitely be back!!

Excellent food, and the customer service is amazing. Very friendly people. One of the best Cuban restaurants on the South Side. The prices are very reasonable as well. I highly recommend the Chicken Chipotle Sandwich, Steak Jibarito, and the Mariquitas con Mojo (plantain chips).

The food is delicious. It was my first time here visiting from Houston and it did not disappoint.The food was delicious and the customer service was amazing. We had the Ropa Vieja and the Jibarito , it was soooo good. Thank you Jackie for being so sweet and taking care of us !

I got the steak sandwhich, cubano, and empanadas - it was PHENOMENAL! The empanadas, especially! I’ll be back for the guava and cheese again and again.
The reviews seem to be hit or miss for the Cuban sandwich. My Cuban sandwich had a faint taste and strong smell of freezer burn. The sandwich is large, and I split it with my son. He said he liked it and that he did not taste freezer burn, so either the freezer burned pork was on my half of the sandwich or my son's taste buds have not fully recovered from covid.

Came across this spot on TikTok and was in the vicinity, so I had to come check them out. Very welcoming staff and space. The cafecito was AMAZING! I ordered the lechón y arroz con gandules and it hit the spot. Will be coming back even after forgetting my guanabana drink 😂.
