Anniversary night! Lively with excellent music Normally food is excellent...Friday night was an off night Service very good on a very busy night. Mussels - Fantastic!!! Super Tuscan - Not sure what was off. At first I thought my taste was off, the i spent some time swirling the wine. The wine began to taste old - like the bottle had been open two long. It did not improve Bistro Filet - Was first delivered to my table as a hamburger. Waitress returned and apologized for the error. She then verified my order. Music and restaurant were loud. I normally order steaks rare to achieve a medium rare state. My past experience at this was that steaks were spot on. Friday was different. Steak arrived beyond Medium. Problem I had already been there for 90 minutes and overly hungry. It was my decision to eat the steak without comment. Even good restaurants can have bad nights or bad for a single table. Especially when super busy

Very good service. Had the short rib with orzo. The short rib portion was very tiny for the price charged. Had short ribs at other restaurants which were much more generous portions for less price.

Poor service, went with my family to eat just right now and we enter the restaurant waited for about 20 min and no one came to ask how many we were, They didn't even greet us. Ended up leaving.

I wanted to share some feedback regarding my recent visit to La Barra – Riverside. I came in last night with a friend for dinner, and while the service was attentive and friendly overall, I was very disappointed in how my leftovers were handled.
At the end of our meal, the hostess offered to box up our food. We requested two containers, but instead of separating the dishes, she stacked dirty plates on top of my half-eaten lasagna before taking everything to the kitchen. Several minutes later, she returned with only one container — my friend’s leftovers. When I asked about mine, she replied, “Oh, we threw it away. I thought you were done.”
Considering that my entrée was nearly $24 and still half uneaten, I was very disappointed that it was discarded without confirmation. While the hostess did apologize, no resolution or accommodation was offered. Ultimately, I paid full price for a meal I was unable to fully enjoy.
Josh is professional (I cannot say enough about this!), patient, and polite. The good is great and noon is the perfect time to go for quiet conversation.

Today was an anomaly as service was only mediocre. We had to ask for several things (such as more water, bread, and another cutlery set after ours fell). The quality of the food was good but portions were a lot smaller than normal. We ordered the chocolate chip cannolis but were served the regular ones with pistachios and my daughter has a tree nut allergy. Overall, it was not the best compared to all the other times we have been here before.

Food, amazing. Dessert, amazing. Music, amazing...just a little loud for where we were seated. We had an option as we came for our reservation for another booth a little further from where the band was setting up. We should've asked to be seated there instead. We had difficulty hearing our conversation at the table. The music was very good, just loud. Didn't know how to resolve. Still, we had a great night. We love this place.
