Food was pub style but just what you want if you want pub style. Wings, nachos, burgers, and fries were all very good. Beers are good and cold, mixed drinks are very, tall? Very friendly staff. Wishing them all the best in business. Did I mention the prices are so low you almost feel guilty? Could use better lighting and decor, perhaps in time.

I spent my birthday here and had a blast! You must try the "Paloma" and the house specialty shot! Impeccable service from Chachi!!! (Sorry, may have misspelled that ;) He was attentive , so friendly, and made my friends and I, the best tasting coctails all night! Perfect place to have a drink, hang out for a while , get something to eat, or have a party. Definitely will be going back for drinks and trying the food which I hear is great! Stop by!!! ?

Sorry guys, there's NO WAY this is a 5-star average restaurant! NO WAY. Ok, server/bartender was very nice & pleasant so he was the best part of our experience. The restaurant looks run down on the inside, air was stagnant. Menu extremely limited (chicken & burgers) and took 20 minutes to serve us burgers & fries despite only two tables occupied. Burgers were overcooked & dry, buns cold to the touch. Flavors did not match the hype of the menu descriptions. Pretty sad, all in all, for a restaurant situated in an amazing neighborhood. Lastly, a warning for anyone entering the restaurant through the front door: Tenant who lives above front door has a window AC unit that looks like it's about to fall out, stuffed with dirty artifacts on either side to insulate it! Be careful folks!!! Owner should remove fake 5 star, paid for, reviews and give it a 3.5 so patrons don't feel bamboozled like we did. I give you 1 star to compensate for the fake reviews.

We have eaten at the Sandtrap a few times now, and had great meals at very affordable prices. The BLT is my favorite, with loads of bacon, and delicious tomatoes. The fries are especially good! The service was excellent and the owner couldn't be more friendly.

I love the vibes here--cute outdoor patio, friendly staff and the food is good, too! They have a great plant-based burger that I order every time.
Darts, the perfect patio, karaoke, chicken nachos, great service and other good eats. What more can you ask for? It's nestled in Riverside near the Metra station and a few steps from the water tower. Julia and Chris (one of the owners) are always attentive! Happy hour is 4-6p bc and there are highlights throughout the week. Definitely worth checking out.
