Aldo's Pizzeria and The Red Brick Pub

The pizza is good. But poor customer service. Aldo himself once waited on our large family and he was very curt and rude with us one night and we had been loyal customers for years. Not anymore. Shame.

Excellent pizza. Nice to know there's good pizza in rural Illinois. Would definitely come here again. The entrance on the right is the pub and the entrance on the left is the restaurant section.

We just found this place and had the BEST time talking to Aldo and a few local customers. We received GREAT service at the bar before eating DELICIOUS pizza and AMAZING chocolate mouse dessert. We will definitely be back. Thanks Aldo & family !!!

A group of us (17) went to Aldo’s after attending a wake at a nearby funeral home. They were so accommodating with very little notice. Best pizza I have had in a long time (and I grew up in Chicago!). The wait staff were great and Aldo greeted us when we walked through the door. I live in Rockford but would drive the half hour for the Aldo pizza.

The waitress never checked in on us. We were one of two tables she had to serve. The other waitress had 7+ tables and was rocking it out. Our waitress asked us what we would like and we were very specific for our daughter and she put in the absolute wrong order after waiting over 45 minutes, she came out with the absolute wrong meal. She then proceeded to argue with us and tell us we were wrong. Then they complained about having to comp the wrong meal that we didn’t even accept. Then after dividing our food for our daughter to at least eat something, we eventually got the bill and they explained they comp’d the meal we never even got “as a courtesy to us”. Then I asked for the manager. A little while later he came out asked what was wrong. I tried to explain, he cut me off short and said “what happened happened, what do you want me to do about it”. “How can I make it right for you?” So I said $10-15 off the meal we actually received and he huffed and stormed off. Never confirmed anything. We waited another 20 minutes for anyone to come back to the table and explain the situation and we had no contact with anyone. We went to the front and I got a crappy attitude from one of the waitresses and I explained the situation. She didn’t care. I confirmed I had to still pay full price for only the food I received. And she said yeah no extra discount. Acting like she discounted something already? (She took the meal off that never made it to our table) I’ve had a few very pleasant experiences there before but after tonight I will never and I mean never go back there. Worst experience I’ve ever had at a restaurant. Food wasn’t bad, actually quite good. But the disrespect and attitude from the staff? Incredibly uncalled for. Worst service ever. I hope the waitress that was doing such a phenomenal job doesn’t have to work there much longer and go find another job where he boss and coworkers aren’t so poor at their jobs.

I used to work here and decided to bring boyfriend in because he had been wanting to go for a while. We ordered spaghetti and the stuffed shells with Alfredo sauce. After we left, He said “we are definitely coming back soon for that spaghetti.”🤣 The portions were big meaning we had plenty of leftovers, prices are great for the amount of food you get, our waitress, Heather, was attentive and kind along with the rest of the staff, and the atmosphere is very homey. Perfect place for a date or just to get some good food. 100% worth the hour drive.

The food taste horrible. Chicken parmesan, sampler appetizer and onion soup and a mist gross tasting bread stick. It was all gross.Very low quality food with an off taste. I walked away from it. I love myself to much to put that in my stomach. We will not be going bake

This place has been around for years for a reason this is my 2nd go to pizza joint in Rochelle. If you’re not into sweet pizza sauce then try them out.

It's worth every penny! Hands down on your Italian pizza with pepperoni and had nuggets and with a 2 liter of Pepsi for $19.99 plus tax and tip.
