Huckleberry's Great Pizza and Calzones

Please show this place some love!! Absolutely amazing food and the service was top knotch. Im sure they are struggling with the road construction around their building. 10/10 recommend.

This is our favorite pizza place! It’s not the standard QC style. It’s not cheap, but higher quality than the franchise pizza! Sliced spicy sausage and pepperoni is our favorite!

Downtown Rock Island is a mess with construction , which we didn’t know about because we don’t live here anymore. But we used to, and one of our favorite places to eat was The Original Huckleberry’s Great Pizza and Calzones. I have to give a huge shoutout to Jon because you can taste that the quality is still there. It is so delicious. We have had the old favorites but were left feeling like we were unsatisfied. That was until last night! I cannot say enough about the food at Huckleberry’s . Jon has mastered the gourmet pizza and calzone recipe. The first bite of my Pesto Sicilian Pizza was heaven. The flavors exploded in my mouth. My husband had the Mississippi Calzone and he said the same thing. The sauce on the side Jon should bottle. Makes us wish we visited the Quad Cities just a bit more.

Very friendly service. I'm mostly vegetarian, and found some really great cheesy pasta on the menu.

Great Italian food choices. We came discussing getting a pizza or calzone as a family. We ended up 2 calzones and shrimp tortellini. We also added Artison Bruschetta with goat cheese as an appetizer. Yummy! We will be back again & again & again....
