Food is good. Samara was great! Price tag is shocking and exorbitant especially for Rock Island IL. The salads were $28-29. For. A.Salad. Smallest one topping
Calzone was $21. Cheesy bread appetizer was $14 which was equal to two small slices of bread. I’ve traveled the world and never pay these kind of prices anywhere. Went with two friends. We all got side salads for $9 each that were small and mostly lettuce. Pastas don’t even include breadsticks or salad. Crazy for the price.

Such good pizza! We ordered ahead of getting there because we were a group of 15! But their Mississippi Mud pizza is delicious! Their cannolis... AMAZING!

Simply the best. Locally owned, and an institution in Rock Island and the Quad Cities. Their Mississippi Calzone and Misissippi Pizza are fantastic. Owners and staff are friendly and some of the best people I know. If you haven't been, stop in and you won't regret it!

3.5 stars for the food. The appetizers, sandwiches and desserts were good but my chicken salad had tough, dry chicken. But I think it was just a miss as usually my food is very good. The service was amazing as always. The staff treat you like family. The music in the background is just loud enough to be heard, but not enough to interfere with our book club discussion. That music and the atmosphere made us feel a bit like stepping into time.

Good wine. Good pasta. Good pizza. Quick drive from the Iowa QC side. A nice spot for a Sunday dinner. 🙂

Fantastic Calzone (the Carmody)! I don’t know how they get that much flavor packed in, and the regular size (medium) was about 25% more than I could eat. Allison was fantastic; very pleasant, bright, AND helpful. Clean and inviting - I’ll be back!

Absolutely fantastic place for a team dinner. The staff treated our girls' soccer team with so much care. They even surprised the girls with canolis in their team color. Delicious gluten free pizza and so many delicious and unique ingredient combinations.

Outstanding pizza! We went with a pepperoni and mushroom hand spun crust. Our service was excellent and the interior is exactly like you would expect from a family owned Italian restaurant. Great spot for families or couples with an extensive menu. The Mahalo was an added bonus. Will definitely return when in town again!
