Went for brunch on Sunday and the food was over cooked and overall not to the level we have come to expect there. The server, manager, and owner were very accommodating though and apologized and gave us a 20 dollar gift card to use upon return. Hoping it was a one off and not forshadowing for things to come.

My family loves coming here for breakfast. Everyone is incredibly nice and welcoming. It's a bit pricey but not unreasonable considering that everything is really good. Would recommend.

My first time stopping I use to live up in Rockford and no longer do, we were up there for a doctors appointment stop in our way to rt 20 ,, I would not feed my cat the bacon and sausage we were given, it should have NEVER BEEN PUT ON A PLATE. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE. When I spoke to the manager or owner he was so mean and ugly about everything we did not ask for anything no discount we just wanted him to know and after his response I WOULD NEVER NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. HORRIBLE BREAKFAST AND MANAGER , if it’s still there as alpine view in a year I will be SHOCKED,, 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮

I understand the cost of goods has gone up but you guys have increased your prices so dramatically that we will not be back. It was almost a $140 for breakfast for 4 people the other day. I can understand an increase. but $6 for a single pancake??? $5 for a glass of milk? I can get 2 gallons for $5. I understand you have to pay for the food and all of the other bills that go along with running a business but that is absolutely ridiculous. That means if you pay retail of $2.50 for a gallon and each glass is 8 oz, you are making $125 profit on a gallon of milk!!! If you sell 200 hlasses, you're making almost a $1500 profit, just on milk. That is just price gouging. We'll take our business elsewhere. Yes, I saw the prices before I ordered but didn't restrict my family from ordering since I was pot commited and the food had always been good. Ya... the food wasn't as good as it used be either. Super disappointing experience.
