I came in to place a to-go order and the bartender was very polite and provided great service. Unfortunately, my experience with the host was the complete opposite.

When I walked in, she was standing at the host stand on her phone and didn’t greet or acknowledge me. When I asked if I could go to the bar to place my order, she responded by saying her shift hadn’t started yet and just stood there with a confused look on her face.

This was very unwelcoming and unprofessional. If your shift hasn’t started yet, you probably shouldn’t be standing at the host stand on your phone while guests are walking in.

Was just there and had two groups behind me get their food and no one still has even asked me for anything. I was sat and I waited and had people get served around me. I left after 20 minutes of waiting with no interaction with any staff

The whole experience was horrid. If the food was free I wouldn't go there. I arrived with 5 of me grandchildren. Took almost 20 minutes to be seated. The restaurant was practically empty as it was 4:30. The host was untrained and incompetent. Took another 20 minutes to get waited on. Something was wrong with the furnace and the section we sat in was freezing to the point of one of my grandchildren's teeth were actually chattering. Went to what may have been the manager and she informed me that there was in fact a furnace problem. Told her to make our food to go as we had heat at my house. After being there we'll over an hour we finally received our food. Very poor business ethics. If your furnace isn't working you put a sign on the door apologizing for not being open. HELLO it's a restaurant. How long would our food have stayed warm?

we walked in stood at the front door for 5 mins before we walked back out. the works just looked at us as they continued working on other tables. the least we could have gotten was a well be with you for one second instead we got stared down and ignored. every time i have gone to this location the service has been terrible will be going out of my way to go to the one in belvidere next time.
