My boyfriend and I went to Applebees last night and decided to sit at the bar.The experience started nicely; We were greeted by the bartender and she took our order.There was another bartender/server at the bar.We received our appetizer and began to eat. My boyfriend asked the second bartender/server for some hot sauce. She cut him off and told him she was not our server. We looked at her and seemed baffled as the hotsauce was very close by, but not at our reach. She rudely gives us the hotsauce and continues to blurt that she is not our server. She kept coming back and blurting one liners about how she was not our server. We ate our appetizer but didn’t enjoy the experience. I approached the Manager and explained what happened and if we could eat our food at a table, the Manager was nice and tried to get us a table ready. We were the only ones at the bar counter, no others sat at the bar counter. When our food came out, the rude server approached us and stated “apparently, I am your server and handed us the food”. We were so disgusted with the experience, I approached the Manager again and stated we are going to leave and will pay for our drinks. The manager agreed and we left.It was a very weird experience and now know why none sits at the bar counter. We did appreciate the first bartender and tipped her a 20.00 for being a good server. The second “server” was somewhat insane.

We attempted to get dinner here this evening and were ignored by almost the whole staff. Took 5+ minutes for someone to greet us and then it looked like the whole staff went and had a meeting behind the bar about where to seat us. While we were waiting a waitress was rude to some customers who sat themselves because they had also not been acknowledged. Many people at their tables also looked annoyed. 0/10 here, guys. Find another place to dine! Worst customer service!

My boyfriend and I went here for lunch today. We were pretty much ignored from the time we walked in. We were there a good 20 minutes before a waiter came to our table. We ordered drinks and our food, and it took forever to get our drinks, and appetizer. We never got our main dishes and other people that were seated after us, got their food. Unbelievable! All of the workers in this place looked at us and just walked off! We realized we weren't getting our food any time soon and got up, proceeded to the bar to pay for our drinks and appetizer. The bartender said we didn't have to pay for them as we had a bad experience. The rude couple that were seated behind us, got more recognition than we did! The waiter didn't even say his name or have a name tag, for that matter! We've been to this Applebee's before and not had a problem. All we wanted to do is have a nice lunch! We will not be going back! ?

Cyle was absolutely incredible! One of the friendliest wait staff I have ever met. So kind and personable. He made us feel welcome, unrushed, and at ease. Very funny as well!! Would LOVE to have him again :)

Food was amazing! Friendly staff just could tell they were a little under staffed. The only issue I had was the blinds in the window at our table were dirty but not recently dirty. They had been for a while. But overall I will keep coming back.

Food was excellent but we were completely forgotten about once it got closer to time for us to leave and another table was seated in our area. We had to ask for a box three times and each time we kept seeing our waiter behind the bar making drinks and then forget about us again as it was almost an extra 30mins before we were fully checked out. This was very frustrating to deal with as we realized the bartender was likely our waiter and people ordering drinks were taking immediate priority over our requests which didn't feel fair to us. We were ready to pay, we weren't rude or anything and all we had asked for was a box and payment. The food was great and the service up until that point was good.
