This place is a true gem of Rockford. Cozy, working class vibe (though the patrons seem to be from all walks of life), incredible prices, and importantly - the food is legitimately tasty. I’ll go on record as calling it the best patty melt I’ve ever had. A true Rockford classic that should be cherished as the special place it is.

Gotta say, it's a hidden gem. Food wasn't the best ive ever had but it was still good and plentiful. And the price!! Felt like i was stealing from the place with how low they charge. Can't think of them last time I got breakfast for less then $5 somewhere.

This was my first time eating there I had the ham egg and cheese on toast and it was amazing. And a side of pancakes. Everything was amazing!!!! And for 2 people was only 12 bucks. Highly recommend
