Easter brunch. more like Easter blah. what was on your eggs Benedict? Not hollandaise sauce. Some orange colored gravy that tasted terrible c'mon! Nothing to write home about. Everything was cold I paid $65 for a half a step above Golden Corral.

Easter brunch ok. Lots of choices. But isn't there anyone in the kitchen that can season food? Most of it was very bland. Prime rib not very tender although it looked beautiful. And again, bland. Salt and pepper at the table did not help much for anything. If you HAVE to eat low sodium, you may like this food!

I recently went to Benny's and gotta say, not impressed. The bartenders were totally not professional. They got my order all wrong, and it took forever to get a drink. Like, come on, Benny's, step up your game. The wait staff was rowdy and gossiped with the bartenders while customers were waitng for drinks, just not my vibe. Won't be going back anytime soon. ?

Hello everyone . I would like to give my review of our experience of Francesco's Italian Restaurant in Rockford IL last night's Valentines Dinner . I have never been to Francesco's but have wanted to give it a try for some time. We made reservations months in advance for their Valentines dinner 2024. When we arrived, the front desk was so disorganized and could not find our name for quite a while. When they finally did, instead of being seated in the main restaurant, which we were really looking forward to with all the pictures we see on their TV adds, we were seated in the overflow room which I assume is their banquet room. Stark white. The server didn't come to our table for about 15 minutes while others that were seated after us already had their drinks and appetizer order placed. Menu was a 8x10 white sheet of paper was limited with it being Valentines and all. My husband's steak was so chewy it was hard to eat. My rigatoni bolognese was good but it was just pasta noodles and it was 32$. That is neither here nor there. Top dollar is what you would expect on Valentines evening at a restaurant. I can only wonder if the owner and their family went to a new to them restaurant and wanted to experience the ambiance that is advertised regularly on TV, and were seated in a stark white overflow room, if they would be happy and not disappointed as we were. It was such a disappointment as we were really looking forward to experiencing this venue for their food and ambiance.

The food is always delicious. My unusual order is the salmon and I get the tiramisu for dessert which is to die for!if it's your birthday they put a firework on your free dessert

Not worth the time or effort for thanksgiving was a totally disappointment what I paid for a plate I wouldn't pay 10 dollars for much less that they charge

Good menu and anything you order will be good. Prices aren't bad either. My favorite place for a real Caesar salad. Only critique would be that the vodka pasta can be a bit bland sometimes, but still pretty good.

Food was bland and the prices were insanely high for what you get. The Tortellini dish was $25. Really. And it was ok, but not worth $25. My date had the bass- which was $42. Won't be going back.

The food was excellent, 5 stars all the way. Cooked to perfection (so very hard not to get over cooked shrimp in the midwest). Service was sub par. Our waiter mumbled his name so were are even sure who he was. Where I understand the higher end order drinks, then appitiser... eat. Ther was far too much of a pause in attention from our waiter, so much so that another waiter and a busser asked if we'd been tended to. We opted out of dessert in a desire both not to wait for our server, and because the entrée was just too good not to eat the whole thing. We will likely go back, but will sit on the Franchesco's side and weigh the differences.Dietary restrictions: The menue is limited for egg allergy, but definitely tasty options.

This was my first time at Francesco's, so I was really excited to try it! It's always a busy place, so it can be a bit intimidating to think of waiting for a table or being in an overcrowded room. Not to worry, though, because it's a nice big place! The menu is excellent with a wide range of choices and the specials list had an awesome, seasonal selection too. I had the (special) grouper dish which was delicious with grilled vegetables and peaches, which was unusual and why I ordered it! It really worked! My companions had chicken parmesan and seafood risotto. While I was the only one in the clean plate club, the leftovers were happily boxed to take home! We had a wonderful service team of two, who were friendly and helpful and kept us well-watered and satisfied. Probably some of the best service I've had in Rockford! The only flaw in the evening was, even though this is a large place, the staff decided to seat a noisy table of children fresh from the soccer field in the middle of the room along with a higher table of their parental units next to them. As we were in Benny's (I think to manage on a Thursday night), the already loud room became cacophonous to the point of being unenjoyable. I can't imagine if I were here on a first date or romantic evening and had to deal with the noise level. Now, I don't think they should have turned this part away (and they may be a sponsor to the team or something) but it would have been nice if the management would have considered the other diners and seated this large, loud group in a place that didn't affect others so much. Frankly, it doesn't make me want to go back any time soon as our night ended on that note, which wasn't as pleasant as the rest of the experience.

I am literally obsessed with Franchescos. Best food in town. Wonderful workers. Great variety for the menu. Wonderful servers, hosts, bartenders, anything and everything!!! 10000% please go here.

We went for a birthday party, 11 of us. 1st off who puts a martini in a tin cup. The tin transfer over to the drink and taste horrible. I even asked for a glass one, she said they didn't have one. Do they not have any glasses? Didn't have to be a martini glass. The service was just so-so. They were horrible about picking up the dirty dishes. For the price of the meal, should be top notch service. Disappointed
