Food was fabulous. Oysters top notch, lobster was perfect. Bartender and servers pleasant. A great new and dedicated seafood joint in Rockford. This is a rarity, fresh seafood flown in from Boston, in the midwest.
I have found my new favorite Rockford spot! First of all, the atmosphere makes you feel as if you were somewhere out of town. The space is decorated nicely. There are a good assortment of drinks and the crab cakes were excellent with big lumps of fresh crab. My cousin had the clam chowder and lobster hoagie and he said they were some of the best he has had. Wonderful ambiance, friendly service, relaxed atmosphere (but upscale if you choose to dress up a little). Went here for my birthday dinner in between traveling. Ordered Chilean sea bass with Brussels sprouts and buttered fettuccine. Spouse had ahi tuna and crab cakes; everything was WONDERFUL.
