thank you for being so accommodating to our large group that just dropped in on you out of nowhere! I know we were loud and overwhelming, but the bartender handled us with speed and care. would recommend this place!
Incredible spot. Never had a beer that was a miss, and the vegan cheese pizza is truly incredible for those with dietary restrictions. It's hard to find a non dairy thin crust and these guys absolutely nail it.
Good pizza, great drinks, good service, nice atmosphere
We had a very bad experience with the pizza this week. I ordered a pizza for carry out. It was so overdone, the crust was burned and the cheese was hard and dry. Hopefully, it was a one time thing, but it will be a while before I try it again.
Beer is bland, Seating is ok, bartender not too friendly
Lots of friendly locals in here. Everybody seemed to know each other. If you're a traveler and like to patronize local establishments with cool personality, this is your spot in Rockford. Wish their menu had more options.
Had a casual, friendly hole-in-the-wall atmosphere (holiday results vary). Many customers know each other and the staff. Beer is solid, pizza is delicious, it's a nice place to unwind.
Best beer!
Rockford staple and an original "microbrew" opened 2003. New owner is giving it a second life and making scratch tavern pizzas. Stop by if in Rockford.
Nice selection of craft brews. Service was good.

I really wanted to love this place. The beer choices were just okay, nothing to write home about. I was hyped up for the pizza since everyone says it's amazing, but I have to be honest—I didn't enjoy it. If you're a fan of the thin and greasy style, this might be your slice of heaven.
The highlight of our visit, though, was the impromptu comedy show put on by the bartenders. They were endlessly complaining about the place down the street, Prairie State Brewing. It was clear they weren't fans. Their banter was so entertaining, we felt compelled to go check out the competition ourselves. ?
All in all, it was an interesting experience.

Nice downtown brewery with a limited but good selection of beers. Their Irish Red was very good. Space is deceiving from the outside since they have a large side room also. Server was knowledgeable about the beer selection, but my one negative was the food was extremely slow.
Great venue, good vibes, the beer is to die for, what more do you want
I have been there a few times with the new ownership, and the dinning experience is very tasty, I always like a good beer with my food, just wish they were open for brunch too.
