Great people. Helped me as it was my first time there. Food was EXCELLENT! People were friendly. Easy in and out for to-go orders, plus dining room seating. I was there because of a recommendation. Authentic Mexican food. I travel to Mexico all the time. Miss the food.

I love trying new restaurants in Rockford and I've not yet tried Chilangos yet so I gave it a shot. They have a very nice menu full of so many things to choose from, everything looked amazing! I had a sope and a gordita and both were fresh and flavorful, could have used a squirt of lime but otherwise very pleasing and filling. Very satisfied!

The interior atmosphere is... Very unlively sadly. The place was empty on a Saturday evening, which was strange...

Walked in to try the food. From the outside it looks like a chain restaurant, almost like a cilantro... but this place has real authentic homemade flavors. I order some steak and alpastor tacos. My wife got the chorizo pambazo. The flavor was great.tacos tasted like authentic street tacos. The alpastor with the pineapple was good as well. The pambazo was great, the bread needed to be a little more crispy/toasted but other then that it was great. The location needs some music.....
