I stop in here once in a while just to see what they are making, it is different every day, everything is delicious and not your standard American Italian dishes, very unique. A bit pricey but worth it as a treat a few times a week.

Ordered a couple lasagna dinners for takeout on a Saturday. The owner was very friendly and service was prompt. Got home and tried the lasagna and was very disappointed. Tasted like it had been heated and reheated several times. The sauce had absolutely no flavor. They had to know the food they were serving was not worth what they were charging. Tasted like Chef Boyardee. The bread was good at least. Also ordered a sub to go for my son. He said it was pretty good but still overpriced

I ordered a large tray of pasta salad for a party and it was DELICIOUS! A huge hit with everyone the ordering process was super easy and Anne, who took the order was friendly and helpful. I will definitely be in to try some of the daily stuff.

When you walk in, the lady working the counter is so kind. But the food.. No matter what you get there, it's delicious. I've been here a few times and have gotten something different each time. You can't go wrong. The muffletta and the pizza is the best I've had in Rockford, and I make a point to try all the pizza in town.

Dropped in for a quick lunch slice. Very impressed in the quality of the food. Slice was a solid 8/10 could be warmer but the cheese, sauce and crust was dialed in way better than other local options! Was in and out in 2 mins at less than $5. Will be back.

Deli Italia is phenomenal! From the muffuletta’s, calzones, Strombolis, Italian beef, to the pastas, and pizzas. Give this place a try and see what you’ve been missing. Plus they’re even better people.
