What a great little restaurant. Was quite literally just passing through Rockford but needed to stop somewhere to eat. Not much to look at from the outside but the food is what counts and it was incredible. Amazing homemade chips and salsa. I had the chicken tacos dinner which was simply incredible. This is one of those little "finds" that I love discovering in my travels.
This place is underrated.Food is delicious, prices are very adorable including dessert!.

We drive an hour here for the bakery and the adjoining restaurant as often as we can. And it is so worth it. There must be an old loving abuela in that kitchen because the food is GOOD. The cicina, pastor, chilaquiles verde have all been *chefs kiss*. Really enjoy this place. Highly recommend.Edit: the roasted salsa they served with the chips was SO refreshing and light and delicious.
