I want to bring more friends here to try this gem of a restaurant. First time here for me and the food was amazing. Atmosphere is very romantic and staff is very friendly. Looking to many more visits.

Nice atmosphere, horrible service. My husband and I made a reservation for dinner, and although seated immediately - NO ONE came to our table, after almost 15 minutes after being seated. The restaurant was not full.... several wait staff walked past our table multiple times without even having the courtesy of acknowledging the fact that we were sitting there so long with NOTHING on our table. So we left after 20 minutes and thankfully spent nothing.... cause good money doesn't deserve to be spent on bad service. ACKNOWLEDGE YOUR CUSTOMERS.

Waited 15 mins before deciding to leave, as no one ever came to our table (not even to bring water) or even acknowledged us after we were seated.

Dined here for the first time before attending a comedy act at the Hardwood Casino nearby. Our reservation was for 4:45 p.m. When we entered the main dining room, it was dark and had three other tables with patrons. There were no table cloths like in their photos. It took about 10 minutes before our waiter came to the table. Once he arrived, he asked about our drink order and if we were ready to place our food order starting with salads, soup and entrees. He never introduced himself or made any causal conversations. The drinks and food were served promptly. The tomato basil soup was excellent! Very flavorful! The miso sea bass and zucchini with spaghetti noodles was good. Dessert of flourless chocolate cake was also good. Service was very lacking. Utilitarian at best. Came to table only to take order, pick up dishes, ask about drinks, and dessert. Sam him no other time other than to give/take the bill. Even then never uttered any words of pleasantries.

Dear Management,

Last night, we celebrated a friend’s birthday at your establishment, and while the evening began well, our experience quickly declined once the food was served. To our surprise and disappointment, the food arrived cold.

We immediately voiced our concern to the staff, and the only solution offered was to “warm it up.” Considering the level of reputation your restaurant holds and the price point of your menu, this response was unacceptable. Freshly prepared meals should never require reheating upon arrival.

When we addressed this matter with management, the response we received was dismissive. We were told, “Well, what do you want from me? We offered to warm it up for you.” This attitude, coupled with the lack of genuine concern for our dining experience, was both unprofessional and disappointing.

A restaurant of your standing in Rockford is expected to deliver both quality food and excellent service. Unfortunately, our experience fell far short of that standard. Instead of feeling valued as customers, we left highly dissatisfied.

I strongly urge you to address both the quality control in your kitchen and the professionalism of your management staff. Diners who choose your restaurant should feel confident that they will receive the level of service and food quality they are paying for.

Our first time eating here! Food was excellent, service was excellent and wine sommelier was very informative. Overall great experience and will be returning in the future.

A recent date night with my husband at Francesco's was a truly special experience. From the moment we walked in, we were captivated by the beautiful dining room, and the live piano music was a delightful touch that set a romantic mood. The meal itself was outstanding. We started with the rich and creamy lobster bisque, which was perfectly seasoned. For our main course, we shared the Parmesan scallops, and they were exquisite—seared to perfection with a savory Parmesan crisp and creamy risotto. The wine expert's wine suggestions were spot on, pairing perfectly with our meal and elevating the entire dining experience. Francesco's is the ideal spot for a romantic evening out. The combination of an elegant atmosphere, live music, and exceptional food makes for an unforgettable night. We can't wait to go back.
