After eating here many times, my husband found out he had a medical problem that required no or low sodium every meal. We ordered fish on a Friday, knowing some things can't be changed (such as batter etc) but server was horrible and would not even ask the kitchen to try to accommodate our need for no salt fries (I eat same as husband to support him & help me too). She said nothing could be asked for special made & we could not ask for no added salt cause kitchen...
I came to Garrett’s with a group and enjoyed my experience. This restaurant was quite busy, so I’m grateful that we reserved a table in advance. We shared the Haystack Onion Rings ($8.99) and the Crispy Dynamite Shrimp ($13.99). The shrimp was my favorite. Well cooked and flavorful. I also ordered the Thai Chicken Chop Chop ($15.99) and a NZ white wine. I wish I could remember the name of the wine because I loved it! I don’t enjoy sweet wines and this one was quite dry....
We had a table by the windows and had a lovely view of the golf course. The restaurant was very clean and the atmosphere and decor very nice. We were there on Friday the late afternoon of June 7th. Our server was very helpful and accommodating. I can't remember her name but she seemed to be the only server working the afternoon shift on June 7th. The Cobb Salad and Pinot Grigio l ordered were both delicious. I'm looking forward to going there again in the near future...
