The beef bento box was good. I like the beef. It has lots of flavor. We’re not really a fan of the ramen. It could be better. I think it needs more flavor. The parking is plenty outside.
The place is clean and the staff was diligent. I had the ginger lemonade and that was the highlight for me. We ordered the karaage chicken and the Korean ramen with shrimp, One spicy and one mild. The karaage was juicy but wasn't crispy enough to me. They used what looked like a tempura batter. My daughter had the mild ramen and she said it was good. I had the spicy and it wasn't spicy enough for me and just needed a bit more flavor to the broth. It only has about 4-5 small shrimp. The lady was nice enough to bring me more paprika but that didn't do it for me. It was just missing something.
DO NOT have AYCE as stated, if you are going there for that, don't bother.
The Asian blend of food is on point! The Korean style and Japanese food choices are excellent. We had the Bibimbop and Tonkatsu Bowls and it was totally worth it.
No more all you can eat menu 🥺
we had a date Night it was wonderful so decided to book our daughter's birthday dinner there, staff was amazing cook was amazing just everything was wonderful this was an amazing experience and perfect for Rockford too we didn't have to go far
I'm leaving 5 stars because I'm not trying to be a jerk, but I feel the need to critique.
I did a carry out and it was ready when I got there. I did a roll and the avocado bumb. The roll was good except I only got one packet of soy and no wasabi so that was disappointing and super boring. Then I dove into the avocado bumb, expecting that is was like it used to be before the restaurant changed. The first bite almost made me cry tears of disappointment. I had been craving this for weeks and it was nothing at ALL like previous version. It used to be light and fresh and delicious. Now it's just too much going on, big chunk of fake crab sticks shoved in there, a bunch of tempura battered stuff and tuna that has been completely destroyed. It was all edible but definitely not very enjoyable.
So good! The restaurant had a nice atmosphere. The welcome was warm and friendly, and the food was authentic and fresh, prepared by Japanese chefs in plain sight. I ordered the chicken teriyaki Bento Box. That was fire! Highly recommend going to I LUV SUSHI.

I had the in house ginger lemonade, the chicken kaarage, the miso soup, the side house salad, and a red dragon roll. The lemonade was amazing. Everything was fresh and delicious. Definitely would recommend.

All the staff were lovely, we were sat and had our drink order taken quickly. Food orders were also fast, and the food came out in a perfectly reasonable amount of time! For my drink, I got a lovely Thai iced tea.
We had the Okonomiyaki and Avocado Bomb for entrees, I had black garlic ramen and my husband had the salmon teriyaki bento.
The Okonomiyaki was so fresh, crispy on the outside and saucy on the inside. Delicious!
Avocado Bomb was a new experience, very fun and tasty.
The plentiful noodles in my garlic ramen were bouncy and rubbery, my favourite! I did miss having ramen eggs, with it having normal hard boiled. They tasted just fine though. :) The broth was deeply flavoured, the garlic was juuuust right- enough to be noticable, but not so overpowering that I would kill any vampires I breathe next to.
Definitely ranking this high on my Rockford ramen list.
My husband reports on the salmon bento: "The salmon is fantastic! Not too dry or anything. Could use a little more teriyaki sauce. California rolls are really nice, the perfect size for the bento. I really like the dumplings!"
We will certainly be back. :)
