Brought the whole family from overseas for a great experience. Fun evening and amazing food and drinks at the teppan grill.

JMK has been a classic and a staple for me and my partner to go to however we had a very poor experience over the weekend. While at the teppan table the chef was cleaning the table with a rag and the rag fell on the floor. The chef then proceeded to use the rag on the floor to continue cleaning the grill. I later developed a stomach bug. Very disappointed.

My family came to dine at this restaurant and I have to say that the hibachi chef was a class act and put on a good show. Otherwise, the food quality at this restaurant is really poor. The mushrooms were visibly wilted and all of the food looked like it was a bit stale. The soy sauce tastes like marmite and for some reason this restaurant doesn’t do yum yum sauce. One of the worst dining experiences. Much better off going elsewhere.

Highly recommend! Our chef was awesome and gave the best show while making some very good and generous amounts of food. The bartenders also know how to pour a good drink!

I just had dinner at JMK Nippon’s Japanese restaurant, as I’ve done many times over the past 40 years. My family absolutely loves this place, and we’ve created countless memories here—celebrating birthdays, anniversaries, New Year’s Eve, and more. Over all these years, we’ve never had a bad experience. The food is always excellent, the service consistently friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere remains warm and welcoming.

This time, Diego was our chef, and he was both entertaining and skilled—making the experience even more enjoyable while preparing a delicious meal. JMK Nippon continues to be one of our favorite places to dine.

I felt like I was 7 years old, sitting and waiting for my grandpa to cook for me — not dining at a Japanese restaurant where the chef is supposed to cook in front of you. There was no performance, no explanation of the dishes, no interaction — just silence and nearly an hour of waiting at the table.

The food was bland and forgettable. Meanwhile, Wu House — with the same concept and price point — delivers a far better experience: skilled chefs, engaging atmosphere, and flavorful food that feels worth it.

If needed, management is welcome to review the camera footage. I’m not writing this just to complain — I’m genuinely disappointed by the lack of care in what could’ve been a great experience.

I have eaten here in the past, the food was delicious, then. This was very over priced very bad food. They only had 2 vegetables, 1 being onions, since they don’t put anything in the rice anymore, just soy sauce and egg, it was bad! Everything was over salted mostly the meat. (The cook did not over salt it at the table). We were not offered a sushi menu, and we were told they had no desserts other than cheese cake.(which is not true) Overall the food and the service was terrible. The cook was nice but did not interact with us at all! We tried to talk about anything he was doing and he wouldn’t even crack a smile. It was not just the service, the food quality is not worth the price or experience. We will never be wasting our money at this place again.

The food was well prepared, if rather bland. But the noise level! Half the tables had babies or toddlers. For Pete's sake, has that generation of parents never heard of a babysitter!? Do they really think other adults looking for a nice outing want to listen to their kids bellering? I've had more relaxed meals at Chuck E. Cheese. Sorry, but not going back to that echo chamber of a restaurant.
