The restaurant looked beautiful. Water was very nice. Our cook was very nice and personable. Food was very underwhelming.The upcharge for soggy fried rice is not worth it. Steamed rice still had water in the bottom. My friend felt that her steak was over cooked and not seasoned. Although she loved the mushrooms.

This place has seen better days. We have eaten on the "grill" side a few times in recent months - thinking maybe we just had a bad experience. The food and service are just not up to what they once were. The facility is showing age as well, with some deferred maintenance, especially on the outside where garden hoses have been laying around the water features all summer, and in the bathrooms that could use a deep cleaning or perhaps a complete "refresh"
Overall, this is not a "do not reccomend" but it is a "not as good as it could be"

The sushi rolls were not very good. Other family members got the Katsudon and bentos and they looked fairly authentic. Beautiful place offering many types of sake.

There was something in my sushi that chipped my tooth. I told the waiter, was told it was probably a bone and that he'd tell the chef, and that was it. Didn't seem to care that much.

This place is gorgeous inside. It differs from other hibachi in that they cook in this order: meat, then veggie, then fried rice. Not all at once. They also set up each hibachi table per party. This seems terribly inefficient and not as profitable for the chef. We had a party of 3 and then they seated a party of 2 directly across from us at the other table. Taste wise we preferred their soup and salad than at other hibachi restaurants. I wasn't a fan of the shrimp (the appetizer shrimp are larger than the entree shrimp..why?) But the white tuna and chicken were pretty great!
