We got pizza, pasta, and fried chicken with a pitcher of blue moon. All very moderately priced and well done. Excited to eat here again, there pizza is so crispy!

Ordered the veal parmesan, after asking the waitress if it was real veal, or a patty.
Waitress advised it was a real piece of meat, not processed.
When my meal came, after eating my disappointing minestrone soup, it was a processed patty.
My coworker had the chicken parmesan, it was also a processed patty.
Bread was very small and stale too.
Coffee was burnt and Luke warm.
Overall a horrible dining experience!!!!

They let me and my friends eat there after we completed the tough mudder marathon even though we where still pretty muddy and due to poor planning had destroyed our shoes and where barefoot. The food and customer service were great! I just hope we didn’t ruin the atmosphere for anyone else even though we were in the back.

The second time to dine at John's and it is now our favorite restaurant in Rockford and possibly the whole world. Calamari was exquisite, best I've ever had. Seafood stuffed red snapper was phenomenal. My husband said that his pizza may very well be the best he's ever had. We are from Freeport, but we will be driving to Rockford just to eat at John's.
