so, I've been coming here since about 2018 I think. and let me tell you... it is my FAVORITE RESTAURANT EVER. the food is excellent, every dish I've had is amazing bit my repeat order (even the workers memorized my order because I get it so much) is larb kai with seen savnh (both pictured), sticky rice, and thai iced coffee. I cannot recommend this place enough, the prices are reasonable, the taste is otherworldly, and the selection is small but makes for only the freshest of food (I've burnt my mouth at times from the freshness, and my own eagerness!)
the staff is very friendly, it makes the environment almost feel homey. I could eat from here everyday and not get tired. thank you, Laos kitchen! you have amazing food!

The food is amazing! Best Pho, sausage and Nam Kao I have ever tried! I will definitely come back again when in town. The owner and lady who served us are super friendly!!! I totally recommend this place to anyone visiting or who are in town.

We are from Crystal Lake, IL, and we will definitely drive back to visit this place. The owner is super friendly and went out of her way to talk to us. The lady at the register who served us has an amazing personality and exceptional customer service. Would 100% recommend to anyone visiting the Rockford area or who lives in Rockford.

I thought the food was delicious and I quite liked the environment as well. My suspicion is that there is a whole subset of Rockford residents who wouldn’t consider a place like this simply because it is on Broadway which, let’s face it, isn’t in the *prime* of its life as a commercial corridor. But I’d urge anyway to get past any of that and give this place a shot. Well worth it.

Food was a bit different then what I'm use to and it took long to get our food even though it wasn't that busy and the place does need some TLC.

They don’t hire enough staff members to accommodate their customers, waited an hour before getting served any food and my thai tea because they had one waitress. She was so busy that she kept forgetting things. Never again!

I’ve been going to this restaurant for about four months now, and the cashier they had when we first started going was a lovely person, knew your order before you even got to the counter or at the sound of your voice when you called. But this new cashier they got, got a attitude about doing her job. Every time I go there I gotta argue with her about something she messed up or Miss. For instance, she tried to charge me $35 for Veggie Pho with extra noodles and when I told her that was the wrong price, she argued about it until the owner came and checked, come to find out she charged me twice for everything and had a stupid look on her face. Then had the audacity to get even more of an attitude because I didn’t tip her.
The food is awesome, but they should really get rid of that new cashier.

Me and my friends stopped by Rockford on the way to Chicago and we found this hidden gem. We ordered the Krapow, Lao fried noodles, beef pho and the fried rice and everything was so amazing. The staff was friendly and the chef came out to talk to us. 10/10 would recommend if you’re in the Rockford area.

Everything is amazing with great prices. If you want authentic Laotian food, try this place out! Papaya salad is THE ABSOLUTE BEST IVE HAD since I moved to Rockford. #ChefsKiss other than that, fried chicken is so good and so are their ribs! It’s like a hole in the wall place but those are always the best places to eat! Atmosphere is great but just needs some AC cuz it gets pretty warm in there. Lol

We had seafood pho, combo fried rice, spring rolls, and Thai tea. All of it was amazing. Very friendly service in a clean, hole-in-the-wall spot.
