Only THE BEST Italian restaurant in town! In fact I saw I think it was on Yelp out of 420 restaurants in the Rockford area Lino's was #1. Fantastic! Many years ago a group of my friends and I were having dinner there and one girl ordered the Vegetable Lasagna and she didn't like that it had mushrooms on it. Well Vegetable Lasagna what do you think might come on it was what I was thinking. But the owner Joe came out of the kitchen where he was cooking wearing a white apron and asked her what would she like instead. He wanted her to be happy and got her something else. That is the kind of caring, exceptional service you get at Linos. But the food is even better! You'd better make reservations though because every day of the week the place is always packed!

Wonderful from start to end The food was awesome, great service and we love the Leaning tower. We had a favorite place in Freeport and it's actually better with better value. I think we'll drive the extra 20 minutes to Rockford.

I’m more excited to write this 5-star review than any other I’ve done! Lino’s has been a Rockford favorite for over 50 years — I know because I worked there 53 years ago when I was 14, The family that owns Lino’s is absolutely wonderful.
They recently catered my grandson’s wedding rehearsal dinner, and the food was amazing — everyone loved it! I can also vouch for dining at Lino’s over the years; the food, service, and atmosphere have always been top-notch. We’ve had nothing but great experiences there.

So convenient to use the drive thru pick up on E. State. The service is pleasant, friendly and quick and nice to get home from work with one of the best tasting pizzas around. Linos pizza is unique and consistently delicious. Definitely one of our favorites.
We had their pizza and it was excellent!! It was very busy and our waiter seemed frazzled at times.

From April at the reception stand to our server, Izzy, our experience at Lino's was exceptional. First class, authentic, Italian food and world class service to go along with it. House made lasagne was outstanding and the Chianti Classico, for $25, was rated 92 on the Wine Spectator. We will be back on 100% of our trips through Rockford. Kudos to the entire Lino's team for 50+ years of greatness!
