BBQ is always on point! Yesterday i had a opportunity to beta test the new and might i say AMAZING infused BBQ sauce now being offered at Little Nicks. Woow the flavor was all there and was very relaxing as well. For me its a bonus to have this sauce paired with Little Nicks great food THANKS AGAIN AND SEE YOU SOON!

Went there for lunch the other day and it was phenomenal. Got the chicken and brisket combo and for $10 actually had lunch for 2 days. Brisket was done very well for my liking and the chicken had a great smoky flavor. Drove past it many times in the last couple of years and very glad I finally gave it a try! I highly recommend Little Nick’s!

I've ate food from here on 3 different occasions and it's been spot on every time. Today I had the mild wings and let me tell they were a 9/10. They were crispy and kissed with the perfect amount of smoke. Keep up the good work and I will keep coming back!
First time there. Very friendly staff. Great customer service. J*** chicken was so good. The smoke on it was on point! Sides and deserts were excellent.

Rockford is extremely fortunate to have real and authentic barbeque available and this is the real thing. The negative reviews are the equivalent of "why doesn't my apple taste like an orange" and are incredibly unfair and lack context. If you wanted an apple, go get an apple. If you want real barbeque go to Little Nick's. Thanks for what you're doing and I hope this place succeeds.

Very concerned about the future of this business. We drove from Belvidere to the new Auburn Street address only to find the business closed. We tried to find the posted hours and they are not shown on any of their sites, menus or elsewhere I must assume they are open only whenever the owner wishes. Not a good way to conduct a business in our opinion. We may try once again, but if we have the same results we will not be disappointed a third time. I sincerely suggest that if the owner desires to have a successful business he make immediate changes. Operating any business is NOT a part time, when in the mood, I know better than the customer, or I now have bills to pay today type of employment. It is a serious full time commitment. Hopefully our first experience was a misunstanding and the owner has fantastic products to offer. We wish any small business owner total success, but the end results are mostly under their control. Our saying, as previous small business owners, is "if you don't take care of your business, someone else is willing. Best wishes to Little Nick's you future is in your hands alone.Update: We tried to give the restaurant another chance. Called within an hour of them opening. It took four repeat calls for them to finally answer the phone. I asked if we could place a order for pick- up later that day. I was rudely told that I would have to call back when I was ready to pick- up the order. I called back later that day, in approximately the middle of the hours they posted for that day. After four attempts with no answer, we received a recorded message on the fifth call that they had closed early for the day. We refuse to be treated in this manner. No business is worth this effort and aggravation. We will choose to take our business to restaurants that care for their customers. The owners may have learned to cook wonderful BBQ, but they most certainly failed to learn how to operate a business. We will never know as we will not patronize this restaurant.
