As far as the food goes, the reason I gave it a three, first is because I had to send my French onion soup back. it was so salty it was making me cough, and my steak I took three bites and that was so salty. I didn't return it, I brought it home, washed it off, and warmed it up in a little bit of butter. I was very disappointed. I can't handle food that I can't taste. There's way too much salt, that's the reason we stopped coming to begin with. This is the first time we've been back in several years, and I don't think we'll be back ever again.

Excellent food and outstanding service. Started the meal off with spinach dip.it was delicious, had a crusty parmesan cheese topping and served with toasted Flatbread pieces. I highly recommend. Then we had the ribeye steaks that were cooked perfectly. As a side we had the Brussels sprouts and the mac & cheese, both very good, and a couple well portioned salads. The meal was excellent. Then finished off the evening with the chocolate stampede. A layered chocolate dessert paired with ice cream, it will satisfy your sweet tooth and chocolate cravings.

Wife had a 6 Oz. Fillet, I had a 12 Oz. Ribeye. Ribeye was gristley. Any sides are extra $. Take your own steak knife because theirs are dull. Service was excellent though.

When we’re in Rockford, we try to stop at this Longhorn as we think it’s one of the best in the Chicagoland region. We enjoyed another great experience and food was good also and unfortunately my burger was overcooked to my liking. I asked for medium rare and got medium plus. The flavor was good but I like it to be a little more juicy. I mentioned it but said it was still ok for me.

The wait for a table sucked. They need more seating in the waiting area and/or a bigger bar area so people have a place to go instead of clogging up the entryway. Not everyone is 23 anymore and capable of standing for over an hour. The noise sucked more. We literally couldn't hear each other talking from 3 feet away. The food and service were good and made the aforementioned annoyances tolerable.

We were celebrating my mother-in-law’s and father-in-law’s birthdays, and the experience was wonderful. The food was delicious and full of flavor, especially the steak and ribs, which were excellent!
