Lou Malnati's Pizzeria

I was looking forward to trying this considering the history of influence with Chicago style deep dish. I don’t know how good the original restaurant is in Chicago, but this Rockford variation is actually one of the worst pizzas I’ve ever had, especially for how expensive it is. I highly recommend you avoid this if you actually like deep dish pizza and Chicago style thin crust. Both styles of pizza here are worse than the average fast food pizza chains, and that should say enough on its own. The deep dish is not even “deep”. It’s the thinnest deep dish pizza I have ever seen. The thin crust has the same style crust as the deep dish and the closest word to describe the texture of the crust is “stale”. If you like this restaurant, then I highly encourage you to try other options. In conclusion, this is an embarrassment to the pizza businesses in Rockford.

Shame on you Lou Malnatis, can't hire delivery drivers, have to out sorce to door dash for your deliveries? And will not allow cash for delivery, prolly cause you will not hire a driver. All the stores u have, can't hire a few people.

I’m a big Lou Malnati pizza fan and love to order when there’s a restaurant nearby. We had an issue with our door dash delivery person, however Michelle was so amazing over the phone. I work in the customer service field myself and Michelle handled the situation so wonderfully.

Tried ordering online.They charged me 3 times. So now I have over 150 dollars in pending charges. Not cool. The manager said we didn't charge you. I opened up my bank account and physically showed her the charges. She said it's a known issue however if you would like to pay and order I'll be happy to help you. She said the charges will fall off. I work hard for my money and more than likely won't be ordering again.

I am not sure what happened to there pizza but it is nothing like it was back in the day. It looks more like a thin pizza than anything else. Hardly any sauce . For what the charge . I’m not sure if it’s this location in Rockford . Giordanos is way better and so thick . I call it like I see it . Just can not believe how the quality has suffered. I ordered all the time when they first opened and it was so good . NOT ANYMORE. I really do not think I will be back .

Ordered a small cheese deep dish online for in store pick up at your Rockford IL location. Was charged 3 times. 17.83, 17.83 and 12.77. Called the store back and was told they would take care of it. Still waiting for my refund. Left a bad taste in my mouth by your lack of action. Hire better staff, love your pizza and have been a customer for over 50 years and this is my first bad experience,
